We had a lovely visit from Greg this week. Greg provides one to one music for our residents which includes visiting those who are nursed in bed. His vast knowledge of songs means that he can always sing a song at our residents request.
This week he even played the Formula 1 theme tune on his guitar for a huge fan!
Thank you Greg as always for a wonderful session, creating smiles and engaging with our residents ❤️

We have been lucky to have PAT dogs Bear and Frank visit residents over the last couple of weeks after both dogs had been on their holidays. Frank had enjoyed swimming in Devon while Bear was holidaying at his dog sitters. Residents were overjoyed to see them. ❤️🐾🐾

Unfortunately this week the weather hasn't been to kind to us but we managed to go out and about in the community when it was dry.
We are very lucky to be close to town. A resident requested to go to the bank, one needed to go to the post office, while others joined us for some fresh air and a change of scenery.
Of course, while we were out, we grabbed a quick cuppa! ☕️

Residents on Althorp and Boughton were treated to animal cuddles from Lucias Tiny Farm. The visitors were guinea pigs, rabbits, a tortoise, a bearded dragon, a couple of rats, along with Coco the dog who made herself at home after having lots of treats. 🐾🐰🐇🐹🐁🐭

Lucia treated us all by bringing in 3 of Coco-belle's puppies in to see residents and staff. They were soon worn out after greeting everyone that they fell asleep on Debbie! The pups were so well behaved giving Coco a much needed rest! 🐾❤️

Residents had a great session with James from HomeFit Vitality who encouraged then to join in with armchair movement. After a warm up, they then played balloon tennis. It was great to see everyone join in and have lots of fun! 🎾
