☘️HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY☘️
The snakes are gone from Ireland,
St. Patrick's drove them forth,
But snakes or no, the hearts are glad
In the homes in the South and North.
For the music of the pipers
Is ringing in the air,
And the laughter of the dancers
Is echoing everywhere.
From the little homes in Connacht,
From the cabins of the Clare,
From the busy streets of Dublin,
Come the sound of happy prayer.
For St. Patrick's Day is with us,
And the world is bright and gay,
And the boys and girls of Erin,
Are dancing all the day.
So here's to Erin's children,
And here's to Erin's shore,
And here's to him who drove the snakes,
From her green land of yore.
