We have now learned of the very sad news of the first death in the Uk following the controversial Brazilian Butt Lift.
Alice Webb a mother of five underwent the surgery on Monday performed by the self claimed ‘lip king’ Jordan Parke, hours later she was dead.
Currently, anyone literally anyone-can pick up a syringe and call themselves an Advanced Aesthetic Practitioners and immediately begin training others!!!! The person who performed Alice’s procedure was not a medical practitioner, yet they were conducting invasive treatments on the public every single day.
This isn’t about medic v’s non medic. This is about qualified, skilled v’s unqualified.
The procedure this lady had, and sadly died soon after, is incredibly high risk. It is a surgical procedure, therefore should ONLY be carried out by a suitably qualified surgeon in a suitable theatre. In America it is only carried out under ultrasound guidance.
The lack of regulations within the Aesthetics industry in the UK is dumbfounding and this needs to change now!!!!!
Would I offer this treatment with my 20 years nursing experience!!!!
100% No!!!!!
So I urge anyone considering aesthetic procedures to please do your research. Ensure that you are see a reputable, qualified professional who is fully licensed, trained and has adequate insurance. No procedure is worth risking your life for!

Hi Guys
As you’ve probably noticed I’ve been a little quiet on social media recently as I’ve been getting ready to make some changes to About you Aesthetics.
But now it’s all official I can finally share.
Emilie one of the fabulous barbers who you’d meet coming into clinic has now taken over the shop. There’s a great refurbishment and a brand new name to the shop along with some changes in my clinic room.
Some of you have seen things slowing happening however from 22nd to 30th July the shop will be closing along with my clinic for the refurb.
In the coming weeks I’ll be introducing some great new treatments, new price list and a new cosy clinic room.

Introducing our newest team member my fourth grandchild Denney.
He arrived Thursday weighing 7lb 7oz.
It wasn’t straight forward to say the least but Mummy was amazing and everyone is home safe🥰

Using 4ml of dermal filler our amazing patient had her cheeks, lips and peri oral region treated.
And what great results!!! You can see an improvement with a lift to the cheeks which has also helped in reducing those jowls and improved the sunken area of the tear trough.

Just a post to apologise being very quiet since January.
I’ve had a couple of personal issues that have taken up a lot of my time. But I am thankful of those of you that have changed appointments at short notice and of course to you all for your continued support. January has been a busy and it’s been so lovely to see some new faces in clinic. And I’d like to say as we come into February we are back on track and a few new treatments are coming so keep your eyes peeled!!!!!
