Happy 2 year Anniversary to me!!

On the 8th April 2024 - I took the brave step to open up my own business LJW Sports And Injury Clinic
I didn't think I'd make it 2 months, but I wanted to try - rather than just picture it in my mind about what could be!

2 years on.... I'm working with Olympic Athletes, I've been on tour with Team GB Basketball Team, I have high end Ultra runners on the top of the board for the UK 🇬🇧

I have my regulars that have become wholesome friends and buddies of mine... 😍😍😍

My career started late in life when I attended night college and I earnt my stripes by working hard and being passionate about what I do.

I'm proud of what I've achieved with little support I received in life.

If I can do it... so can you.. you CAN turn things around 😉

My first shift in another new role!
Swimming Assistant Teacher.

I took part in the Swimathon event at Waendel Leisure Centre.

Timing the laps, cheering and encouraging the participants along and also treating a few injuries and niggles along the way!

Absolutely incredible watching people achieve their goals and being a part of it all!

Massive well done to the swimmers and too all the team that helped out on the event!!

I've been working with the lovely Gary today.

He had a life changing injury using an E Scooter 15 mths ago leaving him with severe spinal injuries, and Wheel chair bound.

A group of friends raised over £5k for him and ran a half marathon in aid of the fundraising to get Gary the help he so deserves.

3 weeks ago I gave him a number of upper body strengthening exercises, to help assist him in holding his body weight.

Today I had Gary standing!! And using his legs!

Just incredible! I'm going to continue to work with Gary as his long term goal is to be able to walk again!

My job is so rewarding 🙌 ☺️ 😌

Hey everyone 👋

Thank you all for your patience this week after I've been fighting with the lurgy 😷

And apologies for the classes cancelled and appointments missed this week 😢

I've been quite poorly and run down past few weeks, and my mother being in hospital took its toll on me, she is still a poorly girl, but atleast she's out of hospital after a six day stint. 😢

I'm still not 100% but I'm getting there slowly.💖

Just wanted to check in and say thank you for the lovely kind messages I've received 😊 ☺️

Happy Sunday everyone!

I just wanted to congratulate Kelly Barrow on achieving her 1st half marathon!👏

She and her friends has raised over £5000 for her friend that suffered horrific spinal injuries by using one of those stupid E Scooters!!! 😳

Her fundraising is to provide physio and support towards her friend.💗

I am proud to be a part of this support network offering my expertise and experience and also giving Kelly a pre and post Sports massage in the process!! 🥰
