๐Ÿ’™ Happy International Nurses Day ๐Ÿ’™

Today, we celebrate our incredible nurses and the vital role they play in caring for our patients every day. International Nurses Day is celebrated on 12 May, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, and is a time to recognise the global contribution of nurses to healthcare.

Nurses are often the first people you see and a constant source of support throughout your care. Their role goes beyond clinical tasks, bringing skill, compassion, reassurance, and advocacy to every interaction.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to our nursing team for their professionalism, kindness, and commitment. You make a meaningful difference to our patients and our community every day.

If a nurse has made a positive difference to your experience, please leave a comment below to share your appreciation ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿ†• New Update for Blood Pressure Appointments ๐Ÿ†•

Weโ€™re introducing a small but important change to help us better care for your health.

From now on, if you are attending the practice for a blood pressure check, we will also ask you to bring an early morning urine sample. This helps us monitor your kidney function alongside your blood pressure.

๐Ÿงช What to do:

Collect your sample first thing in the morning
Use a whiteโ€‘topped bottle (please ask for a bottle at the reception desk).

This simple step helps us provide a more complete health check during your visit.

Thank you for your support ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ”นYou can get advice and treatment quickly from your community pharmacist
๐Ÿ”นGP appointments are kept available for patients who need them most

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธ Your pharmacist is trained to help and will advise you if you do need to book an appointment with us.
