Pilates Gentle? For those working with limitations.

Spaces have opened up for the New Year in the following classes:

Tuesday 6pm Hatha Yoga (60 minutes)
Thursday 09:30am Pilates Fusion (60 minutes)
Friday 5:30 Hatha Yoga (90 minutes)

The classes are small, so it's a monthly commitment as I can't offer drop-ins, but the personalisation you get when you join is well worth it :)

I teach you stuff for 3 hours, you pay me £30. Seems a pretty fair exchange to me. Max 4 participants.

Breathe & Be workshop on Sunday 7th December at 10am. I'll be scheduling this workshop again next year but probably not until Spring so it's the opportunity to jump on for a while.

It really is. If every thought, word and action comes 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ the mind, then cultivating a positive relationship (a friendship even?) with our minds would surely create a greater level of peace and ease to our day to day?

I'm not saying it's easy; breaking habits, recognsing traits, making changes to support ourselves... these things don't come easy. But they won't come at all if we don't make the time and effort.

✨ New Class: Practices to Calm the Mind ✨
I’m introducing a new class designed to help calm the mind, downregulate the nervous system, and build a toolbox of techniques and strategies to develop resilience for when life feels tougher. The aim is to help you cultivate a calmer, more peaceful day-to-day experience.

Classes will include:
• 💤 Yoga Nidra (yogic deep sleep)
• 🌿 Gentle movement leading into calm and stillness
• 🎧 Guided relaxations and meditations
• 🔕 Short silent meditations
• 🪷 Yin Yoga

Meditation for the Western mind can be a real challenge. We’re constantly inundated with input — for years, even decades — so to expect the mind to “switch off” the moment we sit (cross-legged or otherwise) is, quite honestly, unrealistic. This is why so many people feel they “fail” at meditation (and I don’t use that word lightly).

Practices to Calm the Mind is a practical and pragmatic class. There’ll be opportunity to for discussion; what to expect, what’s normal, how to support yourself day to day as well as lots of calm. The aim is to give you the best possible chance of building a sustainable personal practice to down-regulate and reset your nervous system.

🌸 This class is for you if you’re:
• Feeling stressed, anxious, or mentally overloaded
• Looking to improve sleep quality and relaxation
• Recovering from illness, injury, or burnout
• Interested in starting meditation but unsure where to begin
• Living with chronic pain or fatigue
• Wanting to build resilience and emotional balance
• Simply craving a pocket of calm in your week
