My name is Michelle Cockram and I have worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist for 10 years and chose to specialise in pelvic health (obstetrics and gynaecology) in the last 6 years. In 2016 through completing my Masters degree I became the only Masters qualified in pelvic health physiotherapist in Northamptonshire.
Pelvic health physiotherapy makes a crucial difference to peoples lives by restoring their pelvic health: resolving incontinence and other bladder issues, treating dysfunction such as vaginal proplapse, preventing constipation and healing pelvic and sexual pain.
I treat male and female pelvic pain and dysfunction, including pelvic girdle pain (SPD) and re**us diastasis. A thorough assessment helps me truly listen to each patients unique story and fine tune a holistic approach to your treament. This includes your biomechanics, lifestyle and education that will empower you to conservatively improve your health.
I am passionate about pelvic pain physiotherapy and have extensive knowledge that has developed from a BA Hons in Leisure Specialing in Exercise and Health and more recently Physiotherapy and pelvic health. I work with Urogynaecology consultants in Northampton and can provide a broad array of conservative treatment options as alternatives to surgery.
