You do not need universal approval to walk in obedience.

Clarity comes from staying faithful to what you know you were called to build, even when others do not see it yet.

Alignment always reveals itself over time, and the right people recognize it when the fruit becomes visible.

Stay steady in your calling today and resist the urge to explain yourself. Save this and recommit to building what you were entrusted with, not what others expect.

The programme for the OHC 2026 is available to view at bsdht.org.uk/ohc-2026. As always, it will offer two days of CPD and cutting-edge education designed to provide take-home messages you can apply the very next day at work. Just some of this year’s highlights include:

It's okay to need help sometimes.

Deep down, you already know what you're looking for, how to handle a problem you're having, and what steps you need to take to truly flourish. You just haven't had the chance to sit down and reflect long enough to realize it.

Coaching creates that space so that the things you've known all along finally becomes clear enough to act on.

The best advice someone ever gave you probably wasn't advice at all.

In a world where everyone has an opinion, a recommendation, or a framework to offer, sometimes you just need a conversation where someone:
- Asks the right questions.
- Comes to you with curiosity.
- Listens instead of jumping to respond.

That's what coaching does, and that's what makes it so different from everything else.

Has this ever happened to you? Your life looks right, but something inside just feels wrong? That tension has a name. ↓

Cognitive dissonance.

It's the gap between who you are now and the life you built when you were someone slightly different.

Natja Böttcher captures this so clearly and shares with us three questions you can ask yourself right now if you're feeling this way:

1. What do you value now versus when you made these choices?
2. Where do you feel energized, and where do you feel drained?
3. What are you tolerating that's quietly costing you?

👆These aren't a quick fix, but they start to map the distance between the life you're living and the life that feels true.
