Every Christmas, Santa takes a quiet pause from the North Pole to visit the Rainbow Bridge.

He sits with the dogs who left paw prints on our hearts, reminding them they are still deeply loved and never forgotten. These good boys and girls are wrapped in warmth, comfort, and familiar joy as they wait patiently for the ones they love most. In this peaceful place, tails still wag, eyes still sparkle, and love never fades. For those missing a dog this season, this is a gentle reminder that they are safe, happy, and held close. And somehow, in ways we cannot explain, they are still watching over us with the same unconditional love.

🎆 Fireworks Season & Our Pets 🎆

Over the past few days, we’ve seen several pets who have been frightened or affected by fireworks 💔. Loud bangs and bright flashes can be terrifying for our furry friends — and sometimes cause them to panic, run away, or even injure themselves.

Here are a few tips to help keep your pets safe and calm during fireworks:
🐶 Keep them indoors, with doors and windows closed.
🐱 Create a quiet, cozy space with their favorite bed or blanket.
🎵 Play gentle music or TV noise to help mask the sounds outside.
🪟 Make sure your pet’s microchip and ID tags are up to date — just in case they get spooked and escape.
❤️ Stay calm and reassure them — your presence makes a big difference.

Can anyone help find Hunters owners?

‼️Do you recognise Hunter?? ‼️

🐾 You may remember us posting recently trying to locate an owner for this lovely boy!

🐾 Unfortunately no owner has come forward yet. He is having the time of his life being fostered by staff but we can't believe he isn't being missed!

🐾 He is a four year old Sprocker spaniel, originally named Hunter. He is microchipped but the registered owners rehomed him and unfortunately can't locate the new owner's details.

🐾 Please share far and wide in case Hunter has gone on an adventure further afield!

🐾 Please call 01327 350239 or message 07893952368 if you think he might be yours. Proof of ownership will be required.

🐾 If he is yours but circumstances have changed and you can no longer keep him please still let us know so we know to stop searching.

Today we had the pleasure of visiting Jarden Vets — a brand new, independent veterinary practice opening in Olney. It's refreshing to see a practice that isn’t part of a large chain, but one that’s truly focused on the local community, pets, and personalised care.

The team at Jarden have created a warm, welcoming space that feels far from clinical — designed with both pets and their owners in mind. From routine health checks to diagnostics, surgery, and dental care, they’re offering a full range of services under one roof, and we’re so pleased to see this kind of independent care arriving in Olney.
