A little while ago Peggy our hen, lost her best friend Poppy and she has been feeling a bit glum.
As much as she loved hanging with her duck mates she needed some more chicken company.
This week a lovely chap called Andy gifted us his flock of chickens and Big Fred the Cockerel 🐓♥️ Welcome Camp Cluck to Sunshine Farm.

We are busy getting everything ready for our upcoming Jumble Sale on Sunday 17th May. We are hugely grateful for the kindness of all of the people who have already donated so many items. A big THANK YOU to you.
We are still a little short of good quality bric a brac, tombola and raffle prizes, so if you could share this post please to spread the word we would really appreciate it. 🙏

Another beautiful day to be outside creating. Today we built a courgette tower so the courgettes we grew from seed can continue to grow 🥒🪏👩‍🌾👨‍🌾❤️

What a glorious day to be redesigning our patio planters. We used all of the plants we’ve grown on ourselves and our own mulch. We have planted fatsia’s, lavender, cordyline, grasses, lupins, hostas and hebe’s. We love it when the sun shines ☀️

Pamper day today for the sheep. They had their 6 monthly shear and hooves trimmed, ready for the Summer. Thank you Danni 'Bambi' Taylor you girls don’t mess about🐑 🐏❤️

We ♥️ our cooking sessions at Sunshine Farm. If we had a cafe, this would be an example of our menu. All dishes handmade and freshly made by our fabulous clients 😋The plums and apples used in some of the recipes were from the Sunshine Farm orchard 🍎

We are holding a jumble sale in aid of our favourite charity Animals In Need Northamptonshire. We are looking for volunteers to help run the tables please and / or donate any unwanted items for the jumble/raffle/tombola. We will have a cake and coffee stall so if anybody is able to bake a cake we would be hugely appreciative . Thank you 🙏 A massive THANK YOU to everybody who has already donated, our jumble room is starting to fill up and our clients are looking forward to helping us sort everything out.
