We are so lucky at Sunshine Farm to have a fabulous orchard, where we can pick our own fruit and then make delicious homemade home grown fruit pies. This year we have had a bumper crop from our Apple Trees, Plum Trees, Pear Trees and Walnut trees. We have also harvested an abundance of strawberries and blackberries from the plants we have grown. Look at this delicious plum pie we made recently. 😍

Thank you to everybody who donated prizes and bought tickets at our Wonderland Awards Raffle. We raised £200 for the wonderful Animals In Need Northampton charity. We dropped the proceeds off to Kirsty at Animals In Need Northamptonshire and it made Patches and William the donkeys very happy 😃

Our clients work incredibly hard all year round, so every Summer we hold a themed annual awards party to celebrate all of our clients achievements. Last year we celebrated WildWest style. We all worked together to turn the centre into a Scene from the Wild West.

In March this year we started planting all of our fruit and veg in the polytunnels and outside growing areas and today we picked the fruit of our labours. We had a great time strawberry picking. 🍓
We are looking forward to harvesting our potatoes, egg plants, cucumbers, salad, peas, tomatoes and all of our other vegetables. We are also looking forward to picking the apples, plums and walnuts from our orchards. Food tastes so much better when it’s homegrown ♥️
