I avoided mirrors.
I avoided photos.
I avoided being me.

I know what it feels like…
because I’ve lived it.

I used to avoid the camera at all costs.

Group photos.
Family events.
Even pictures with my own kids.

At my heaviest the thought of being in a photo made me want to disappear.

So I’d stand behind people.
Offer to take the photo instead.
Or say “I’m fine, you go in it.”

What I didn’t realise at the time was that I wasn’t just avoiding photos…

I was missing memories.

Now I’m the one saying
“Can you take the photo?”

Not because I’m perfect.
But because I refused to stay stuck in the body and life I felt trapped in.

10 stone later… and a completely different life.

Nothing extreme.
Nothing fancy.
Just structure and consistency.

The plan gave me the structure I needed to stay consistent and lose 10 stone.

And over time… it completely changed my life.

You don’t realise how many small things your weight steals from you until they come back.

Not just the number on the scales.

But moments like…

• sitting comfortably on a plane
• taking your kids swimming
• lying on a sunbed without worrying
• wrapping a normal towel around you

I lost 140lbs.

But the biggest thing I gained was my freedom back.
