As Valentine’s Day approaches, we know it can be a difficult time for many, bringing memories of loved ones who are no longer with us.

Here at Ann Bonhams, we have put up our Tree of Love as a place of remembrance. If you would like to visit and place a memory heart with a message for someone special, you are more than welcome to do so.

There is no rush, no expectation — just a quiet space to remember, reflect, and feel supported.

This is a long-standing tradition showing a mark of respect, symbolising that your loved one is never alone on their final journey. By leading the procession, the Director is guiding, protecting and honouring the person in our care, while also representing the family and loved ones who follow behind.

It is a quiet moment of dignity, reflection and respect. One of the many ways we show our commitment to every family we serve.

As we look back on the past year, we want to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you to every family who trusted us to care for their loved ones during one of the most difficult times in their lives. It is a responsibility we never take lightly, and we are truly honoured to have been there for you.

We are also grateful for the continued support of our community. Over the past year, it has meant so much to be able to give back in different ways and to stand alongside you at important moments.

As we move into the new year, our commitment remains the same – to serve with care, compassion and dignity, and to continue supporting our community wherever we can.

Christmas can be a difficult time for many, especially when someone special is missing.
While it’s natural to feel that loss more deeply at this time of year, we gently encourage you to also reflect on the joyful memories and precious moments you shared together.

Although our branches will be closed on certain days over the Christmas period, please be reassured that we always have a Funeral Director on call, so you can speak to someone whenever you need to.

There is no right or wrong way to feel — come as you are. We’re here for you.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated selection boxes for the children’s wards at Northampton General Hospital.

We were absolutely overwhelmed by the response. We collected a massive amount, far more than we ever expected. There was over 100 selection boxes!!

It has been truly heart-warming to see our community come together during this festive time to help bring some extra smiles to children and families who need it most.

Thank you all for your kindness and generosity 💛

If you’re able to donate, even just one box, it will help bring a smile to a child spending Christmas in hospital. ❤️

Our Funeral Director Jordan was out with Friends of Billing Road Cemetery helping out with a litterpick at Billing Road Cemetery.

We got quite a haul with over 20 bags, carpet, a hose, a bed headrest!, and of course a traffic cone. 🚯⚠️

Well done to everyone who helped and who then went off for some festive treats after.
