Today is Mother’s Day, a time when many people celebrate the wonderful mums in their lives. For others, it can be a difficult day as we remember those mothers who are no longer with us.

Here is a beautiful spoken word poem to remember and honour the mums we hold in our hearts today. 🤍

Today our Funeral Director Luke and Funeral Operative Mark have been out and about delivering Mother’s Day daffodils to several local care homes, as well as The Doddridge & St James Community Centres . 🌼

A small gesture to help brighten people’s day and let them know they are being thought of, especially at this time of year when many may be remembering their mums.

We hope the flowers bring a little bit of joy to everyone who receives them. 💛

💐Join us for a Morning of Remembrance💐

On Monday 16th March from 10am until 12pm, we warmly invite you to join us at Ann Bonham & Son for tea, coffee, cakes & biscuits.

This can be a tender time of year for many. We're opening our doors to anyone who would like some company, a friendly chat and a quiet moment to remember the Mums who are no longer with us.

Whether you'd like to share a memory or simply sit with others who understand, you are very welcome.

Today is International Women’s Day, and we would like to take a moment to recognise and thank Michelle, our wonderful Funeral Service Specialist.

Michelle works incredibly hard to support every family who comes through our doors, helping them plan a meaningful and personal farewell for their loved one. Her kindness, dedication and compassion never go unnoticed.

We truly appreciate everything she does for the families we care for and for our team at Ann Bonham & Son. 💐

At Ann Bonhams, we understand that sometimes there are still words left unsaid. 🤍

We have recently placed a beautiful Letters to Heaven postbox in our reception area. If you would like to write a letter to a loved one, you are warmly welcome to come in and post it in our special letter box.

Whether it’s a message, a memory, or simply a few words from the heart, this is a quiet space for reflection and connection.

Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day 💛

Our FSO Mark and Funeral Director Jordan have been out and about in town today, handing out flowers to members of our community — just a small gesture to hopefully brighten someone’s day. 🌼

This Valentine's Day, we know it can be especially difficult for those missing someone they love. 💛
At Ann Bonhams, we are holding space in our hearts for every family remembering a special person today. Love does not end when someone is gone - it simply changes form.
