75th Anniversary of St Christopher’s 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
On 4th May 1951 St Christopher’s opened its doors to the first residents. We are holding several events during the summer to mark this special occasion. On Friday a special service was held in the chapel followed by burying a time capsule containing many photographs, plans of the building, a bag of coins and other items of interest. This will be opened on the 100th Anniversary. Following the burial a display of flowers have been planted in the shape of 75!!! This display is to be found next to the Coach house.
Yesterday in the wonderful sunshine a band of merry volunteers joined us for our annual planting. A great day and every pot and border has been filled with summer bedding plants. A big thank you to everyone involved 🌸

The Bank Holiday weekend was full of music. We were joined by Elizabeth Groves, an exceptional young harpist on Saturday and then a completely different vibe on Bank Holiday Monday where we celebrated VE Day with music from Terry. Lots of singing and dancing 💃

Another busy week at St Christopher’s. We had the pleasure of the Corby Ukulele band on Saturday followed by another planting to support the Abington Park Community Project, a morning of exercise with a competitive edge on Weds followed by the birthday bash with wonderful music provided by the Roy Hawkesworth band 🤗

Another fun morning at Wellingborough Sings Out. Dancing, singing and laughter. Who could ask for more? 🤗
