A Heartfelt Thank You
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who made this project possible. While it may seem like a small achievement to some, for me—as a first-timer—it has been a significant and meaningful journey.
This extension and refurbishment have been shaped by many early mornings, late nights, and long weekends. It required dedication, patience, and perseverance, and I am incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved.
My sincerest thanks and appreciation go to my husband for his unwavering support throughout the entire process. His presence and encouragement made all the difference.
To my amazing children—thank you for your understanding and strength during this time, especially while managing your own important commitments and exams. Your patience and love have meant the world to me.
A special thank you to my wonderful dental team. Helen and Kerry—you have been incredible every step of the way. Your continued support and loyalty have truly kept me going.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with a fantastic local building company and some excellent tradespeople, whose professionalism and commitment helped bring this vision to life.
Of course, no project is without its challenges. There were some less-than-ideal experiences with certain tradespeople whose involvement was fortunately brief and non-critical. They’ve been removed from both the project and our recommendation list—another reminder of how important it is to work with the right people.
This journey has taught me valuable lessons—not just professionally, but personally. A few takeaways I’d like to share:
• What people say and what they do can be very different. It’s essential to stay involved and oversee every step if you want the outcome you envision.
• Trust your instincts.
• Be kind—but never naïve.
• Bigger doesn’t always mean better when it comes to companies.
• From something small, something great can grow.
Once again, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who provided their support, time, and exceptional service. This project would not have been possible without you.
Warm regards,
Dr Diana Ferati
