In your head, where do you live?

The future - "This time next year Rodders..." It's not happened yet and unless you make it happen, it's unlikely... Sorry but tomorrow is just a daydream... unless...

Now! - The only time that's real. All you have is here and now, this moment! In 5 minutes this moment will be a memory... gone. Was it a good memory or a bad one? Who cares, it's gone! All that's important is NOW and what you do with NOW to make the future brighter. Yep, that future that's just a daydream depends on what you do right NOW, so go on... what are you waiting for?! 🙂

The Past - "I wish I'd have..." yawn. Mistake ridden cesspit. Did you know a lot of our memories are false? That over time our memories get distorted? Learn from the past and file it as "been there" but don't live there 🙂

Take in this moment, don't miss a detail. Hug those close to you, say your "love you"s. Smell, see, hear, taste and most importantly feel it! Feel alive, for this is the only moment you really exist in!

Speech over, I'm off down the gym. Pfffft, I was much stronger yesterday and I'll never get to where I want to be 😔😁😉

We go through our daily lives missing so many of the finer details. We get up and ignore the sunrise, we work ignoring our colleagues or kids, we walk around ignoring the beauty of the place and then we open a bottle ignoring our pain...

When life becomes a daily hamster wheel it's important to STOP, take a breath, look around and take in the finer details.

All we have is here and now, yesterday is a memory, tomorrow is but a daydream... don't wait for tomorrow, live in the moment as if you ignore it, you might just miss it 😒

This is going to be interesting :) A warts and all page showing the highs and lows as we get Horus up and running. I'll be posting lots of content including videos, links and daily inspiration.

A wise old Irish man once told me not to be afraid of failure, it's an integral part of success... so laugh at the failures (as I'll be posting them) and lets learn and grow together :)

So why Horus? What does it mean? Wouldn't Dan McCoubrey Hypnotherapy work better? Um, no 🙂 I mean, who even is Dan McCoubrey?? In February 2025 we went to Egypt for my birthday, we went for winter sun, sea, sand and the good bits, the Valley of the Kings and the Pyramids! My Hypnosis journey was well in flow by this point and it was a case of choosing a good name... Our guide for the Valley of the Kings was a legend of a man named Emad. Boy did he know his stuff. He explained in such detail and with such passion, advising us of the hieroglyphs inner meanings.

So the eye of horus... healing, health, wholeness, protection and perception... that's what it's all about 🙂
