Meadow View is an established, purposely built home, offering residential care for adults aged 18+ with Learning Disabilities, who may also have additional needs such as; mental health, sensory, ASD and/or moderate challenging behaviour. The Stables is a specialised Day Centre for adults with learning disabilities offering person-centred, bespoke care to each individual whilst enabling positive an
d safe social interaction. Our belief is that people with a learning disability should be encouraged to live a life as fulfilled and meaningful as possible. At Meadow View we promote independence with support, to participate in the day-to-day running of their home which could include maintaining their own rooms, laundry, assisting in meal preparation and planning. All our clients will have access to local amenities such as; a local farm shop, Brampton Valley Way Walk, and the nearby pub. Shepherd Heights is within walking distance of Kingsthorpe where our residents, as part of their personal schedule, can access local supermarkets, banks, the library, coffee shop and a selection of retail outlets. All staff members are fully trained care specialists in learning disabilities, qualified to use a person centred approach.
