đź’š May is Mental Health Awareness Month

A gentle reminder that life isn't about getting it al right, its about growing, learning and finding your way back to yourself.

Even through the messy moments, to thrive, to flourish, to learn and to shine in your own way.

However this month looks for you, be gentle.

Your mind matters đź’›

🌿 From Stuck to Steady

Sometimes anxiety doesn’t look like fear, it looks like being busy.

Keeping going, filling the diary.

Thinking things through again and again, replaying conversations.

But underneath, there can be a quiet worry:

“What if I get it wrong?”
“What if I can’t cope?”
“What if I fail?”

So, we stay in preparation mode instead of living mode.

If your mind feels busy or stuck, it’s often a sign that your nervous system is overloaded, not that something is wrong with you.

This isn’t weakness.

It’s your nervous system trying to keep you safe.
But safety isn’t the same as feeling fulfilled.

Today, try this gentle shift:

👉 If fear wasn’t leading… what small step would I take?

Not a big leap. Just one small, steady step.

That’s how we move from stuck… to steady.

🌿From Stuck to Steady

Ever feel like you want things to change but somehow you stay in the same place?

Not because you don't care, not because you are not capable, because anxiety quietly keeps you stuck.

It can sound like

~ "I'll wait until things calm down"
~ "I don't feel ready yet"
~ "Maybe its better not to rock the boat"
~ "What if i can't cope"

So you keep going but something inside you knows you're holding back.

Moving forward doesn't mean pushing yourself, it starts with noticing whats keeping you stuck.

Today gently ask yourself

👉 Where in my life do I feel stuck right now?

No pressure to change it, just noticing is the first step towards feeling steadier

🌿 5-Day Mental Declutter Challenge
Day 5 – A Gentle Mental Reset

A Happier Mind: From overloaded → calm, clear & back in control

Over the past few days, you’ve:

âś” noticed your thoughts
âś” recognised the patterns
âś” started letting go
âś” created small moments of space

Today we bring it all together… with a gentle mental reset.
This is your time to pause, breathe, and allow your mind to soften.

✨ Guided Mental Declutter (2–3 minutes):

If you can, close your eyes for a moment…
Take a slow breath in…
and a longer breath out.
Imagine your mind as a clear sky.
At first, there may be lots of clouds —
thoughts, worries, to-do lists, conversations.
You don’t need to push them away.
Just notice them…
and with each slow breath out, allow them to drift.
Some float away quickly.
Others dissolve gently.
Some simply become lighter.
With every breath… more space appears.
More calm.
More clarity.
More room for you.
And in that space, notice how your body feels.
Even a small shift is enough.
Take one final slow breath…
and when you’re ready, open your eyes.

đź’› This is something you can return to anytime your mind feels full.

If you’ve enjoyed this challenge and realised how much you’ve been holding mentally… imagine what could shift with deeper support.

🌿 5-Day Mental Declutter Challenge

Day 4 – Creating Space for Calm

A Happier Mind: From overloaded → calm, clear & back in control

Over the past few days you have,

âś” noticed your thoughts
âś” recognised the patterns
âś” started letting go

Today we are going to create space because calm doesn't come from forcing your mind to be quiet, it comes from giving yourself moments where your nervous system can soften.

Tonight the clocks go forward for British Summertime. we lose an hour and that can leave us feeling a little more tired, foggy or out of sync.

So today is a gentle reminder, you don't need to do more, you may actually need to do less.

✨Your Day 4 Practice (2-5 minutes)

Choose one way to create space:

- step outside for fresh air
- sit in silence for a couple of minutes
- take 5 slow breaths
- pause before moving onto the next task
- put your hand on your chest and soften your shoulders

These tiny moments tell your body

"You're safe, you can slow down"

When the body softens, the mind begins to clear.

Especially today, be kind to yourself.

Adjust gently, move slower if you need to.

Comment SPACE if you're creating a small moment of calm today.

🌿 5-Day Mental Declutter Challenge
Day 3 – Letting Go of Mental Clutter

A Happier Mind: From overloaded → calm, clear & back in control

Over the last couple of days, you may have started to notice just how much you’re holding in your mind.

The repeating thoughts.
The mental to-do lists.
The worries that pop in automatically.

But here’s something gentle to consider today

👉 Not every thought deserves your energy.

Some thoughts are:

• old stories on repeat
• based on fear rather than fact
• other people’s expectations
• habits you’ve carried for years

And without realising it, we keep picking them up and carrying them.

Today is about starting to put some of them down.

✨ Your Day 3 Practice (3 minutes):
Imagine your mind like a cluttered room.

Now gently ask yourself:

👉 “Does this thought support me… or drain me?”

If it drains you, picture placing it down.

You don’t need to push it away, just stop holding onto it.
Even letting go of one thought creates a little more space.

And that’s how calm begin not by clearing everything, but by carrying less.

💬 Comment LET GO if you’re trying this today.

🌿 5-Day Mental Declutter Challenge
Day 2 – Reducing Mental Noise

A Happier Mind: From overloaded → calm, clear & back in control

Yesterday was all about awareness, just noticing whats fillling your mind.

Today we gently look at why the noise keeps coming back.

Our minds love patterns and over time, thoughts can become automatic habit cycles.

For example "I've got too much to do" you feel overwhelmed, you overthink or avoid
➡️things pile up and the thought repeats again

The more this loop runs the louder it feels.

This doesn't mean anything is wrong, its just your brain trying to protect you and stay in famaliar patterns.

The good news is once you notice the pattern, you can begin to soften it.

✨Your Day 2 Practice (2-3 minutes)
When you notice a repetitivethought today, pause and gently say to yourself

👉 " This is just a pattern, not a fact"

Then take one slow breath in and a longer breath out.

You are not trying to stop the thought, just turning down the volume.

Small shifts like this begin to reduce mental noise and create space.

Comment CALM if you are trying this today.

🌿 5-Day Mental Declutter Challenge

Day 1 – Awareness: What’s Filling Your Mind?

A Happier Mind: From overloaded → calm, clear & back in control

Before we can clear the mind we need to notice what’s actually in it.

Many of us are walking around with:

• constant mental to-do lists
• replaying conversations
• worrying about things that haven’t happened
• carrying emotional weight from weeks (or months) ago

And after winter this can feel even heavier.

The darker mornings, shorter days and lack of sunlight can naturally lower mood, drain energy and make everything feel more effortful.

So if your mind has felt full, foggy or overwhelmed lately, you’re not imagining it.

Today isn’t about fixing anything.
It’s simply about noticing.

✨ Your Day 1 Practice (3 minutes):

Pause and gently ask yourself:

👉 What thoughts keep repeating today?
👉 Are they helpful… or just noisy?

No judgement. Just awareness.

Even noticing is the first step to creating space.

💬 Comment AWARE if you're joining me today — I’d love to know you’re doing this with me.

How are you feeling today?

Are you ready to go for the week or thinking "I can't believe its Monday again?"

Some mondays bring motivation others bring a heavy feeling even before the day has started!

If today feels a little slower, foggier or more overwhelming, you are not alone. The shift from weekend to weekday can be a big one, especially when you are already juggling so much.

Instead of pushing yourself to feel different, try and take one slow breath, drop your shoulders, feel them relax and ask yourself

What would help me feel steadier today?

It doesnt have to be a full reset, just one small moment of reconnection with yourself can change how the whole week begins.

Are you a "Lets go Monday! or Still waking up Monday"
