RE-ADVERTISED - MOBILITY ENGINEER STAIRLIFTS AND SCOOTERS

We are looking for a Full-Time person who is technically minded – physically fit has EXPERIENCE on fitting for example stairlifts, Servicing scooters along with making deliveries and helping in the store when needed. It is definitely a varied role!

Duties will include but not limited to:
- Repair and servicing of mobility equipment both within store and onsite such as:
• Mobility Scooters
• Powerchairs
• Riser Recliners
• Stairlifts (Handicare ideally)
- Preparation of new and used mobility products for sale.
- Installation of equipment such as Stairlifts and care beds.
- Delivery of equipment to customer’s home or care home.
- Calling customers to help diagnose issues and ensuring customer issues are resolved to a satisfactory level.
- Organisation of parts required for repairs.
- Attending homes and stores throughout (but not exclusively) Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Buckinghamshire.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Must have a clean driving license
- Must have experience working on products such as stairlifts, mobility scooters
- Ideally based in Northampton.
- Can work under pressure.
- Customer focused.
- Excellent time management, communication and social skills.
- Presentable appearance.
Working hours:
- Hours per week: Standard 40 hrs.
- Monday-Friday: 9am to 5pm (30 minutes for lunch).
- Available to work Saturdays if required.
- Must be available for out of hours call out - rota dependent.
- 20 days annual holiday plus Bank Holidays.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start available.
Wage:
● Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

All tools and equipment to carry out your duties are provided. Vehicle will be supplied.

Available with for the 1100 straight stairlifts series, the slide track is designed to facilitate a safe and comfortable dismount at both the top and bottom of the stairs, reaching the top of your home’s stairs on the way up before the stairlift itself, and, on the way down, travelling along with you.
