🌿 Spring into Summer Announcements 🌿

As the spring months continue and summer gently approaches, it’s a beautiful time to begin planning meaningful moments and celebrations.

My availability is open for naming ceremonies, vow renewals, and memorial services, with bookings coming in for 2026 and my diary now open for 2027.

I’m also delighted to share that I am currently in discussion for Saturday 8th August, recently confirmed for a truly beautiful spiritual naming ceremony. The ceremony and celebration venues have been thoughtfully chosen, and we are now creating a bespoke service filled with intention including readings, music, and a gentle blessing.

This ceremony will honour new beginnings, embracing a sense of renewal, while holding space for love, memories, faith, belief, and kindness a meaningful way to step forward into life’s journey.

It is always such a privilege to create ceremonies that reflect each family’s wishes, values, and story.

🕊 Memorial Services 🕊

A memorial service offers a special opportunity to gather, remember, and honour a loved one’s life in a personal and meaningful way.

It allows time and space to reflect on memories, share stories, celebrate the life lived, and acknowledge the love that continues. Memorial services can take place at any time and in any location that feels right a favourite place, garden, hall, home, or setting that holds significance.

Together we can create a bespoke service that reflects the personality, values, beliefs, and life journey of the person being remembered. Music, readings, candles, personal tributes, photographs, and symbolic elements can all form part of a heartfelt remembrance.

A memorial can bring comfort, connection, and a sense of closeness honouring a life that will always be remembered.

🎵 Farewell Songs – A Gentle Collection 🎵

Music can hold emotions that words sometimes cannot. It can comfort, reflect love, and help us remember the people who mean so much to us.

I have created a Spotify album of farewell songs often chosen for funeral and memorial services pieces that bring peace, connection, and a sense of closeness during times of remembrance.

Music can support us in many ways… whether it brings a quiet moment of reflection, a tear, a smile, or simply the feeling of being near to someone we miss.

You may wish to listen in your own time, perhaps while remembering a loved one, lighting a candle, or just allowing the music to gently hold space.

If there are songs that have meaning to you, I always welcome hearing them. Music is deeply personal and can be a beautiful part of honouring a life.

I still speak to you, you know.

I still say, “good morning,” when I wake up and open the curtains. Sometimes I say it aloud and sometimes I whisper it to myself.
But I still say it.

I still say, “hey you,” when I walk past your chair or your photograph. Sometimes I say it with tears in my eyes and sometimes I have a smile on my face.
But I still say it.

I still say, “what should we have for dinner?” when I get home in the evening or when I open the fridge to see what food we have in. Sometimes I say it even though I know what I want to cook, and sometimes I’m hoping you’ll give me some inspiration.
Either way, I still say it.

I still say, “it’s our song!” when it plays on the radio.
I still say, “remember this?” when I find something I’d forgotten about.
I still say, “what do you think?” when I’m trying on an outfit.

I still say, “isn’t it a lovely day?” and “guess who I saw!” and “what shall we watch?” and “goodnight”
and “I miss you.”

And I still say, “I love you.”
Whenever I see your photo. Whenever it’s a lovely day.
Whenever I miss you.
Sometimes I say it aloud, sometimes in a whisper to myself; sometimes with tears in my eyes and sometimes with a smile on my face.

But always, either way,
I love you.

And I still say it.

🌸 Easter Blessings 🌸

Wishing you a peaceful and gentle Easter weekend. A time that often brings together family, friends, neighbours, and communities sharing moments of warmth, kindness, and togetherness.

Easter also holds a deeper meaning for many a time of renewal, hope, and reflection. A reminder of light after darkness, and the strength of love that continues, even through loss.
For many, this season can bring memories of loved ones who shared past Easters with us traditions, laughter, meals around the table, walks in the spring air, and simple moments that now live on in our hearts.

If someone special is not with you this Easter, perhaps you may choose to honour their memory in a small, meaningful way lighting a candle, sharing a story, preparing a favourite meal, visiting a place you enjoyed together, or simply taking a quiet moment to remember. Holding on to memories can bring a sense of closeness, comfort, and peace.

As a Life Celebrant, I feel truly honoured to support families through weddings, vow renewals, naming ceremonies, funeral services, and memorial services creating meaningful moments of love, remembrance, and celebration of life.

🌸 Hello April 🌸

The first day of April brings the true feeling that spring has arrived lighter evenings, brighter mornings, flowers beginning to bloom, and the promise that summer is just around the corner.

There is something uplifting about this time of year… a sense of fresh energy, new beginnings, and possibilities ahead. And let’s be honest finally being able to hang the washing outside again feels like a little victory! Fresh air, sunshine, and that beautiful smell of clean laundry and bedding blowing gently in the spring breeze… simple joys that just make life feel good. 😅🫶🤷‍♀️🥰

As nature begins a new season, it’s also a lovely time to start planning meaningful moments ahead. My diary is now open for 2026 and 2027 weddings, vow renewals, and naming ceremonies, with free consultations available.
