Creative Support - Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health & Wellbeing Hubs Welcome to Creative Support's Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub Service!

🌟 It's World Mental Health Day🌟

Mental health is more than a small part of our lives, it’s every moment of every day.

It’s a hard day’s work and a catch-up with friends. It’s when you become a parent and the day you lose someone you love. It’s the times you reach out for support and the years you spend on a waiting list. It’s the fight for a mental health system that works and hospitals that are safe.

Mental health matters on the days when everything happens and the days when nothing happens.

When life is busy and unpredictable and when it’s quiet and ordinary too.

Mental health doesn’t take a day off. Not on World Mental Health Day and not on any other day of the year.

We continue to strive to provide accessible and inclusive support and advice to the residents of Birmingham and Solihull;

🟣 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 🟣

It’s something one in five of us will experience but you don’t have to go through it alone.

If you're feeling unsafe or experiencing domestic abuse, Talking Space is here to listen, support and help you explore your options. πŸ’¬

We provide a safe, out-of-hours space to speak in confidence with a trained Crisis Intervention Worker.

We have lots of availability this week for anyone needing immediate support.

🧩 Understanding Mental Health Recovery at the Northfield Hub 🧩

This activity, part of our Mental Health Awareness group (soon to be re-branded as Understanding Mental Health Recovery on the next timetable), sparked some fantastic contributions and thoughtful discussions.

From talking about routines and self-care to signposting towards helpful services, activities like this encourage reflection, connection and peer support πŸ’¬βœ¨

We’re looking forward to running this group again under its new name - join us Thursdays at 2:30pm from October 16th to explore recovery, share experiences and learn together!

πŸ“ Please note: Sessions are available to current service users. Not currently accessing our service? Find out more and self-refer: www.birminghammentalhealth.org.uk
