COVID-19 INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS
We would like to extend our thoughts to all of our patients during these unprecedented and uncertain times, and to give you the latest information on the situation with regard to receiving treatment at Church Hill Treatment Centre.
At Church Hill Treatment Centre, the safety and wellbeing of our patients has always been our number one priority. In this regard we wanted to let you know the measures we have implemented to address the contamination risks for patients attending for treatment.
To sanitise the surgery we are using a combination of surgical sanitiser and steam cleaning to sanitize all handles, chairs, treatment tables, toilet flush etc. Treatment tables are covered with fresh paper sheets for each patient and practitioners are wearing surgical masks and latex gloves during consultations.
Appointments times are spaced, with a minimum of 30 minutes between one patient leaving and the next patient arriving. By doing this we can sanitise the reception and consultation room between patients. Patients will be asked to remain in their cars until their appointment time. Again, this gives us time to sanitise all handles and surfaces and also ensures patients do not come into contact with each other. All patients are required to wash their hands upon arrival at the surgery.
In addition to the above, we are offering telephone consultations to those patients who are in the vulnerable or shielding categories. If you contact the surgery requesting a telephone consultation, the receptionist will offer you appointment times which we have set aside for this service when you can ring back and speak with a practitioner.
