Bowen is most often used for the management of soft tissue and joint pain such as back, shoulder and neck pain. It is often equally useful for stress management and general health maintenance as it is deeply relaxing and re-balancing to both the body and mind. ๐ŸŒฟ **Tight Hamstrings & Back Pain: How Bowen Can Help** ๐ŸŒฟ

Did you know that tight hamstrings can quietly contribute to lower back pain? These powerful muscles at the back of your thighs affect how your pelvis movesโ€”and when theyโ€™re tight, they can pull on the lower back, creating tension and discomfort.

Thatโ€™s why Bowen therapists always check the hamstrings (among other areas) when someone comes in with back pain. Bowen is a gentle, hands-on therapy that works holisticallyโ€”using soft, rolling moves over muscles and fascia to prompt the body to rebalance itself. Itโ€™s deeply relaxing, often described as calming, spacious, and surprisingly powerful despite its light touch.

โœจ Clients often say Bowen feels like their body is being gently โ€œresetโ€โ€”with tension melting away and movement feeling easier.

If youโ€™re prone to tight hamstrings, here are a few tips to help:
