As well as enjoying the spring flowers in our garden, we have been busy using our huge range of faux flowers to make some beautiful arrangements to get our creativity going! 💐

Our residents love to get stuck in and choose different flowers and greenery to create their lovely posies 🌸🌼🪻💐

🌟 Last Week at Heathfield 🌟

🔹 Emerald suite loved having a visit from our Little Heaths who came to play 👧🏼👶🏽
🔹 Alan and John have been having a good lads chat 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼
🔹 Diamond suite have been dancing the evening away with our lovely care team 💃🏼🕺🏽
🔹 Housekeeper Lilian has had a helping hand pushing her trolley from one of our residents 😁
🔹 We were grateful to receive a visit from students at St Fidelus Primary School who enjoyed showing our residents their school work and bringing them flowers 📔💐
🔹 Sapphire suite have played picture quizzes where they had to work out different bingo calls and name types of flower 🧠
🔹 Mary has been keeping up to date with current affairs reading the newspaper 📰
🔹 Diamond suite have been playing ball and target games and getting competitive 🎯🏆
🔹 Rene has been looking at some beautiful scenic pictures 🖼️

We are so grateful to all our staff who provide the range of different stimulating activities to keep our residents engaged and happy here at Heathfield, as well as our local community who come in to visit our residents 🥰

🌷🌸🌼🪻💐 National Flower Day 💐🪻🌼🌸🌷

Our residents love all things green and have been able to enjoy the sunshine in the garden this week to tend to our beautiful flowers 🪻

We have also been fortunate to receive some lovely flowers as gifts from the primary school children at St Fidelis who came to visit our residents 💐

Flowers make us all feel so happy 🌸🌷🪻🌼🥰

🔴🤪 Red Nose Day 2026 🤪🔴

We have all enjoyed being a bit silly today at Heathfield wearing our red noses and taking some silly pictures 🤪📸

Our residents have had their home cleaned and clothes washed by red-nosed housekeepers, their fish and chip lunch prepared by a red-nosed kitchen team, been attended to by red-nosed care staff and Diamond suite even received their medications from a red-nosed nurse Eunice 🤪 🔴

Thank you too all our staff and residents for embracing the silliness - we do love having a laugh together with our Heathfield family ❤️

Here at Heathfield we do love a good sing song and there is nothing better than live music to bring even more joy into our home 🎶✨️

Thank you to the wonderful Santino Fabbricatore Music for entertaining us while we enjoyed afternoon tea, we had a fabulous afternoon 🤩 ☕️🎶🎸

✨Wish Wednesday✨
This week, we are thrilled to grant our dear Ann's wish to see butterflies! We made her dream a reality by visiting the stunning butterfly gardens at London Butterfly Gardens, and it was truly incredible. The gardens were filled with butterflies in a variety of colours. It seemed they were especially drawn to Ann, making the experience even more special. 🦋

🍀🇮🇪 Happy St Patrick's Day! 🇮🇪🍀

Today at Heathfield we have have embraced the Emerald Isle and enjoyed a taste of Guinness with our lunch 🍻 followed by a bit of silly fun throwing green and gold items into our 'pot of gold' 🤩💚💛

🌟 Last Week at Heathfield 🌟

🔹 We enjoyed some wonderful singing from a group of volunteers who are friends with our lovely resident Pat, and we all had a good singalong 🎶🎤
🔹 Dorothy, Greta and Margaret have been busy doing wordsearch puzzles 🧠
🔹 Several residents have been helping pot some lovely new flowers for our balconies 🪻
🔹 Emerald suite enjoyed a game of 'Scattegories' trying to find words in each category beginning with certain letters of the alphabet 🔤
🔹 Pat has been teaching our staff how to do different knitting techniques 🧶
🔹 We have enjoyed games of table pong getting competitive 😃
🔹 Our residents have loved playing our new game of Hoopla ⭕

💐✨️ Happy Mother's Day from Heathfield Court ✨️💐

Today we have been celebrating our wonderful Mothers with a day full of love and a delicious afternoon tea spread 🧁☕️🥯🥂 Many of our residents have enjoyed visits from their families and received lovely gifts and flowers 💐❤️

Congratulations also goes to our dear resident Colin who was the lucky winner of our Mother's Day hamper! 🏆💝

🦋 National Learn About Butterflies Day 🦋

Some of our residents have enjoyed a lovely outing to the London Butterfly Gardens at Hall Place and what a coincidence that it is National Learn About Butterflies Day! 🤩

They thoroughly enjoyed having a wander through the tropical environment with all sorts of colourful butterflies around them including many landing on them!

What a delightful afternoon at Heathfield! Our amazing residents spent the afternoon playing bowling, and it seems like everyone had a great time with the game. I’m curious to see how many got a strike! 🎳

We spent a delightful afternoon baking shortbread biscuits 🥣. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the entire process, from mixing the ingredients to rolling out the dough, and ultimately savoring their delicious creations! They were so tasty that I believe we’ll definitely be making them again.🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳
