We enjoyed a sensory morning today with a game of 'guess the sound' and 'guess the smell' 👂 👃

Some of the sounds included an owl 🦉a thunderstorm 🌩 and sheep 🐑 and smells included Christmas cake 🎄 the seaside 🏖 and shoe polish 👞 and we all had fun trying to work out the answers!

We had fun making memories by visiting Ruxley Garden Centre🪴!We had a look around at all the beautiful flowers, little animals and the fishes🌻🐢🐠. We even took a little break to enjoy a hot drink and a cake which was delicious ☕️🍰.

Our residents have been enjoying some fun and games playing volleyball with balloons 🎈 and throwing the beach ball to each other hoping not to be the first to drop it on the floor! 🫣 It's lovely to see these ladies get into the competitive spirit and have a good laugh with each other - we even had commentary and cheers from spectating residents 🎉🎤👏🏼

Last night our residents, their families and the staff enjoyed a fabulous Mexican Fiesta! 🎉🇲🇽

With songs from Drew which got everyone up on the dancefloor 🕺💃🏼 and a delicious feast of chilli and nachos 🌶😋 we all had a wonderful evening and it was so lovely to see our residents having a good time 🎉

We give a massive thank you to our amazing manager Nikki for cooking up our feast and a big congratulations to our resident Iris who won the raffle hamper! ✨️
