We have had the most wonderful afternoon with Eddy and Lucy.

Eddy plays the keyboard and sings some fantastic classics like Tie a yellow ribbon and Red red robin, and today we had lots of Christmas songs to get us in the party mood.

We danced to jingle bell rock and white Christmas and we raised the roof with a very loud version of Mariah Carey All I want for Christmas.

So much joy and Christmas laughter.

It’s Christmas Eve Eve.
Everyone is getting super excited for Christmas Day here at Kitwood House and tomorrow we have a special visitor coming to say hello before his busy evening delivering all our gifts.

Santa will be stopping by at the earlier time of 10am tomorrow morning to wish all our residents a merry Christmas.

Our Christmas movies have been a hit every night at Kitwood House and this week we have some festive favourites being shown.

Starting this afternoon with The Railway Children an old favourite.

We also have Hook, The Snowman,Home Alone and on Christmas Day Good old White Christmas will be showing at 1pm.

Lots of choice for everyone

What a fabulous afternoon we have had at Kitwood House.

This afternoon we had a tipple or two whilst having a good old sing-a-long to lots and lots of Christmas songs and Carols.

We had Snowballs, port and lemon and sherry and tucked into our homemade mince pies that we all baked this week.

We took turns choosing Christmas songs to sing and dance along to and all enjoyed a very festive afternoon.

What a fantastic Christmas week we’ve got planned for everyone!

Not one, but FIVE live performances to entertain our residents as well as treats and gifts galore! There’s Deborah MacCormack, Les Martin, Eddie & Lucy, Rebecca Done, and Steve Bloor!!!!!! And ofcourse there’ll be a visit from the big fella and a fabulous Christmas lunch to look forward to.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances our Creative Mojo session with Jane was cancelled today so we took it upon ourselves to get creative and made some snow globes.

We added miniature snowmen, father Christmases, presents and Christmas trees to snow globe domes and added water and glitter.

They have come out beautifully.
