A little about me ✨

Hi, I’m Vicky- a BACP accredited counsellor and qualified supervisor, supporting adults, children and young people 🤍

I’m passionate about helping others (inspired by my own experience of counselling as a child) and feel so grateful to do the work I do 🫶🏻

📍 Based in Northwich, Cheshire for face-to-face work but I also work online!

As 2025 comes to a close, I’m celebrating the end of my private practice work for the year! 🎄🤍 Reflecting on the past 12 months, I’m filled with gratitude for the numerous highlights, both personally and professionally. Although it’s not been without it’s challenges, as I say to my clients, with challenge comes growth 💪🏻

Thank you to each of my clients who trusted me with their story this year, and to the lessons each experience brought. I’m truly grateful to have walked alongside you ☺️. Wishing you all a peaceful Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year 🫶🏻✨ I’ll be back January 5th! 😃

Christmas can be a difficult time for many and if everything feels a bit too much, it’s okay.🎄Here are a few self-care reminders for you:
🔔 Remember to put your own oxygen mask on first! 🔔
• Have some ‘you’ time- it’s OK to step away from the family festivities
• Set boundaries. Say no!
• Try not to compare yourself to other people, especially on social media. Remember, what you see is just a highlight reel!
• Keep active and get outside for some fresh air ❄️ One of my favourite things to do over Christmas is take a long walk out with my dog and get a hot chocolate ☕️ 🐾
• Rest and enjoy the break! ✨

If you caught DIY SOS on the BBC in November, you might have seen the incredible work of The Joshua Tree charity featured 🦒🌳. I have provided freelance counselling and supervision for the charity for around 18 months now, and I'm deeply passionate about their mission to support families affected by childhood cancer 🫶🏻. It’s been a privilege to have been invited to their psycho-oncology training day today and see their new site! Here are some quick snaps 👉🏻 check out their new accommodation!💚

I have some lovely new faces who have followed so I wanted to take a moment to re-introduce myself:

I'm Vicky/Vic 😃, a person-centred therapist and supervisor based in Northwich, Cheshire. I offer online and face-to-face sessions, and I'm passionate about providing a safe and supportive space for all my clients.

I'm a warm, friendly and collaborative therapist who will work with you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I'll ask you thoughtful questions, help you identify patterns, and support you in tuning in with your body. Fun fact: You can also expect me to remember what you said 12 sessions ago and make the appropriate connections 😃💫
