Today I had the privilege of visiting Little Leigh Pre-School to deliver a Story Massage session as part of their Children’s Mental Health Week.

Supporting children’s mental health from an early age is so important. Through Story Massage, we use positive touch, storytelling, and shared connection to help children feel calm, regulated, and emotionally secure. These small moments of connection can make such a big difference to confidence, communication, and overall wellbeing.

We brought The Gingerbread Man to life through massage strokes, as it’s a story the children are currently enjoying, and finished with a creative colouring activity — giving them time to reflect, regulate, and express themselves.

I feel incredibly grateful to be invited into nurseries and schools to support children’s emotional wellbeing in this gentle, accessible way.

Join me for a 5-week infant massage course where you’ll learn the beautiful, ancient art of baby massage blending Indian and Swedish techniques, reflexology, and gentle yoga.

You’ll discover how to bring calming, positive touch into your daily routine, and carry those benefits with you right through the teenage years.

Over 5 relaxed and supportive weeks, you’ll learn the strokes for a full-body baby massage. Each 90-minute, baby-led class is designed to give you the space to meet your little one’s needs at any time, whether that’s feeding, changing, or cuddling. You’ll have the chance to unwind, enjoy refreshments, and connect with other local parents as you share the highs and lows of your parenting journey in a truly welcoming space.

The winter months are a time to slow down and get cosy, and there’s no better way than booking onto one of my baby massage courses ❤️

My classes support you as much as your little one. Alongside massage techniques, I teach simple relaxation and breathing practices to help with the stresses and strains that can come with parenthood. We talk openly about real topics like mental health, sleep (or lack of it), and coping with crying.

This course is about nurturing you as a parent, while giving you massage skills that grow with your child, right through to the teenage years (don’t blink, it comes around fast!).

Last night I took part in a very grounding and relaxing soundbath (so relaxing that I fell asleep and I'm pretty sure I started snoring 🙈) with the wonderful Natalie Kitchen at Tension To Tranquility ❤️
Natalie used a range of instruments, including her beautiful voice, to carry us through the session.
I would highly recommend following her page and attending her upcoming soundbaths in Winnington or at her home studio, which has a gorgeous feel to it!
