I am pleased to announce that CSJ Healthcare is now registered as an independent healthcare provider with the Care Quality Commission, for the treatment of disease, disorder and injury, for ear assessment, irrigation and microsuction!

CQC is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.

They ensure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care.

Clinic appointments available from next week at Culcheth Osteopaths as well as home appointments available across Cheshire.

Hi Everyone - I just wanted to give all my followers a quick update, as we've been quiet lately.

CSJ Heathcare are currently in the process of registering as a new provider with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for the treatment of disease, disorder or injury by providing Ear Assessment, Irrigation and Microsuction.

All Nurses Registered with the NMC, and providing ear wax removal, must be registered with the CQC, or could be deemed to be committing a criminal offence.

The CQC are an independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. By registering with The CQC, all services provided by CSJ Healthcare will be assessed as being safe, effective, compassionate and will show that we are committed to providing high quality care.

We have all our clinical policies and processes in place and we have successfully gone through our initial validation. We are now awaiting our pre registration Interview and Inspection, and hope to be back checking ears in the near future.

Why should I get my ears checked regularly?

Our ears play a crucial role in how we communicate with those around us. They are responsible for hearing and our sense of balance. When your ears aren’t functioning properly, you can experience an array of symptoms, including hearing loss, cognitive decline, balance issues, and delayed speech processing.

Below shows the earring removed from the ear canal of one of our clinic patients this evening, along with quite a bit of metal debris and rust!

If you have reduced hearing it may just be a build up of wax, or it may be something more - always get it checked out!

So outside of work, these three keep me busy! Meet Rhu, Bri and Leif! We do obedience, flyball, agility, tracking and dog sports.
Today we were just down the road from at Culcheth High School, competing at a Flyball competition.
