Acupuncture helps with .. nearly everything actually!!

So yes, it absolutely helps with sweats, night sweats, hot flashes and so on.

This lady emailed me after I hadn't seen her for a while - and I'm all good with that! And I want you better and moving on with your life!! 💪🏻

This lady had 4 weekly sessions and I do recommend monthly top up sessions, frequency changes depending on you, your lifestyle and so on - there isn't a one size fits all approach.

So there we are! You know where I am!

Oh and by the way - let's say you fancied resting yourself to some facial acuounture - well we can tailor your treatments to reduce night sweats too!!

Being a clinic helper is absolutely exhausting!!

Meet Clover the mini poodle pup, she's 14 weeks old so I am very much 'mum' and today we are trailing coming into clinic with me!

So far, she's had lots of cuddles which by the looks of things has been exhausting! So now it's time for a nap, where she will facilitate all the newness of the last couple of hours. She had cuddles, car journeys and lots of new smells - and she's taken it all in her little stride.

We call this technique 'surround the dragon'

When there's an area of skin that seems as if it just won't wake up or heal, surrounding needles pushes qi (energy, electrons, oxygen, blood) towards and through the area - promoting healing and waking the area up.

Here I am working specifically on stubborn scar tissue.

My lovely client and I also discussed lifestyle and diet, as this tissue is being somewhat stubborn to strong methods used in the past and we discovered that her diet was somewhat lacking - so working on this herself at home will really help her results - something that has never been discussed with her before and perhaps why she hasn't benefited as much as she'd have liked from very strong treatments in her past.

Sometimes, gentle and slow is better - especially if someone's already deployed.

I also boosted her body with acupuncture for her requirements using body points.

Wilmslow has become my go-to space for facial acupuncture – a calmer, more restorative treatment that many of my clients now prefer for its multi layered benefits.

Body acupuncture continues across all my clinics, and if you’re ever unsure what’s best or where to book, just message me.

P.S If you're already with me in Wilmslow for your body treatments, nothing changes.

'Tendon healing acupuncture'

This is a specialist area, and one where multiple types of treatment are often blended together within the same session.

When we are dealing with an area of limited blood flow (tendons/connective tissue issues such as tendonitis, plantar fascia, joint issues and so on) we need to increase blood flow and create controlled inflammation, increasing blood flow at the site of the issue and at the level of the injury. Add on homework (to strengthen supporting areas) and you're on the road to recovering, quickly.

Gentle electro acupuncture was used here but really, it's effective enough without.

Why use celluma AND needles?

Well, the needles are working hard to create changes in the body, systemically. You can think of it like working from the inside out

The light works from the outside in, deeply rejuvenating your skin cells.

Squashes, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, carrots, parsnips, oats, rice, quinoa... All SPLEEN tonifying foods and what does spleen do in Chinese medicine? Well amongst other things is helps to keep things LIFTED!

I'm talking sagging here
I'm talking prolapses, things dropping down
I'm also talking blood fluid retentions and bloating and period health.

Many women avoid carbs - but worry about ageing.

But are you eating the correct foods FOR anti ageing.

Look at your diet - are you eating mainly raw, cold foods or are you getting in your healthy, warm cooked carbs?

Because If you aren't eating the right foods, and you're spending money on creams and lotions and potions, they won't do what you want them to do if you aren't supporting what's happening on the inside

And is acupuncturists are obsessed with working from the inside out.

All my facial acupuncture clients going forward will receive a document with all the foods that will help them with their concerns, so you literally know how to eat yourself young.

And this is just a protocol - a quite basic but extremely effective protocol!!

Add in advanced techniques and facial acupuncture can create lift, tone and balance.

Body points help the underlying causes of many facial concerns.

Facial acupuncture isn't a one size fits all treatment, it's bespoke.

I've done at least 4 different courses learning techniques from all over the world since 2018 - so if you want your treatment to be tailored for YOU rather than a standard protocol - I might just be your girl.

How often do you need it?
First off we need to charge the muscles - that's what acupuncture does, it charges the muscles with Qi (electrons naturally occuring in the body) so once a month isn't going to cut it. At first I would suggest weekly sessions for around 4-6 weeks before changing to monthly for maintenance and to keep creating positive and long lasting change.

Or, have monthly treatments just to keep you glowy and happy, as a gorgeous treat for a body, mind and face reset.

I was just taking a photo when lovely Vicky said 'youre really good', my heart!! (So I got her to do it again so I could document the moment haha!) 🤣

People thing facial acupuncture is all just about aesthetics, it's not, it's totally holistic, and other health care concerns are addressed because you aren't just your face!

So you leave feeling reset, with a glowy face and a big ol' boost of collagen!
