Lostock Lodge Care Home Our philosophy is simple - our residents and their families are at the heart of our home.

Lostock Lodge Care Home is conveniently located close to the town of Northwich and the M6. The care team is on hand to provide person-centred residential and dementia care either long-term or for short-term respite stays. The purpose-built care home features a private dining room, garden room, cinema and garden. The catering team provides daily home-cooked meals catering to all dietary requirements.

We’ve had a lovely day at Lostock Lodge today 🥰

This morning we enjoyed a visit from Lizy and Griffin 🐾 Their visits always bring out lots of smiles and shared memories from our Residents who reminisce about their past family pets 💖

Then this afternoon we have created some beautiful flower arrangements 💐 and shared our excitement about the lovely weather and how much we are looking forward to spending time in the garden this Summer ☀️

Today we shined a spotlight on the wonderful residents we have here at Lostock Lodge! Staff, family and friends have been voting throughout March and today we revealed the Winners ⭐️

Edward & Lucy kicked off our celebrations with some well known classics that we could all sing along to 🎤

We also set up our first Photo Booth which proved to be a hit with our Residents as they posed for photos along the red carpet 📷

Today we took a trip to Liverpool Cathedral and we were blown away by how amazing it is ⭐️

We were given a tour around the Cathedral by one of their team and we learnt so much about the history of it. It’s the largest Cathedral in the UK and 5th largest in the World 🌍 It also took over 70 years to build from start to finish 🧱

One of our Residents throughly enjoyed being back in the Cathedral as she reminisced about the many visits she’d had when she was younger 🥰

A triple celebration at Lostock Lodge today 🥳

We celebrated a birthday 🎂 , a Resident moving closer to her family 💜 and the builders are leaving us too! 🥳

We danced the afternoon away with the wonderful Lainey and also had a special performance of YMCA from our Builders 👷

Here’s some of the highlights we have captured 📷 during this week at Lostock Lodge 💜

Of course we had to celebrate Pancake Day with some pancake flipping! 🥞
Then we tested our hand and eye coordination skills with a ‘Drop the ball’ challenge 👀
And the lovely Griffin and Lizy have been in for a visit 🐾

It’s been a busy week but we can’t wait to see what next week brings ☺️

🌹Valentines Tea Party 🌹

Yesterday we had our Valentines Tea Party complete with a wonderful selection of cakes 🧁 and biscuits, entertainment by the fabulous Lainey 🎤 and not forgetting a glass or two of Prosecco! 🥂

Yesterday we enjoyed a trip to Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse.

Firstly we watched a short film on the history of the workhouse, sitting on the original chairs from ‘The Regal’ cinema house. 📽️ We then ventured upstairs to look at the displays of the old boat yards and mining set ups 🪨

The trip was filled with nostalgia and reminiscing about family members who worked at the boat yard ⚓️
