A special one-to-one moment today 💙

A lovely afternoon spending some lovely time chatting with our Derek, who shared how much he’s enjoyed settling in so far and how he feels at home. We finished our chat with a cheerful singalong, filling the room with smiles, laughter, and a few of Derek’s favourite songs.

Moments like these really remind us how powerful connection and music can be with our residents🎶😊

Our residents had a fantastic afternoon enjoying inflatable bowling, encouraging our residents to work on hand-to-eye coordination while sharing meaningful chats with one another and plenty of laughter✨

It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another to knock the pins over whilst enjoying a singalong and a dance. A fun and engaging activity that kept both hands and hearts active! 💙

What a lovely way to start the day! ☀️

Our residents enjoyed a fun filled morning of bingo rounds, filled with laughter, friendly competition to get a line or full house and plenty of smiles. The room was buzzing with excitement as numbers were called, cards were marked, and a few happy winners celebrated their wins! 🥰

Moments like these, sharing laughter, enjoying each other’s company, and having a bit of fun always make our mornings extra special 💙

It was so lovely to have many our care staff getting stuck in and joining in with the friendly bingo games!☺️

📚 A Lovely Visit from Our Local Library! 📚

We were delighted to welcome our local library team, who came along to share more about the work they do in our community. They also treated us to a fascinating talk about books all about the history of Northwich, sparking some great conversations and memories along the way.

Our residents had the chance to sample a selection of books as part of a library trial, giving everyone the opportunity to explore new reads and see what the library has to offer. A big thank you to the library team for such an engaging and enjoyable visit📖✨

We enjoyed a lovely movie morning with residents watching the classic Back to the Future - our residents’ choice💙

Everyone settled in comfortably to enjoy the film, with plenty of smiles, laughter, and shared memories throughout. The movie sparked conversations about favourite scenes, music from the era, and films people remembered from years gone by🤍

It was a relaxed and enjoyable morning that encouraged social interaction and reminiscence, making it a great shared experience for all involved☺️

Today, we celebrated National Compliments Day by sharing kindness, love and friendship!🥰

Our wonderful residents took time to write and celebrate the people they love most. Our Allan wrote a beautiful love letter to his wife Ruth, who lives here with us, and reminded us all that love only grows stronger with time 💌

Meanwhile, Bob wrote a heartfelt letter to his wife Joan, saving it as a special treat for when Joan visits again, this is a true reminder of how meaningful the smallest gestures can be to our residents, relatives and staff ✨

Moments like these fill our home with warmth, connection, and smiles all around. 💐

💕 Valentine’s Day Themed Residents Card Making Afternoon!💕

Love was in the air as our residents got creative making beautiful Valentine’s Day cards for their families ready for the special day!✂️💌

From heartfelt messages to their loved ones, to colorful designs, each card was made with love and joy by our beautiful residents!❤️

This activity gave everyone a chance to share their smiles with one another, express their feelings for loved ones, and celebrate the people who mean the most to them. We can’t wait for these handmade cards to bring happiness to their loved ones on Valentines Day!❤️
