What a great way to start the week!
We had a visit from Davenham Community Choir this afternoon and our residents were in fine voice. It was so lovely to see how singing brought everyone together 😊

Sometimes it's the little things that just make a day special. Here at Redwalls we've made the most of the good weather this weekend and our residents have been spending time in the garden.
It has been lovely to watch them chat and reconnect with each other. As well as taking games outside and just enjoying the fresh air.

The sun has been shining and our residents and their families have enjoyed being outside today. It was so lovely to hold our coffee afternoon in the garden. Everyone appreciated having some fresh air along with their coffee & cake 😊

We had a lovely afternoon today listening to Tom O'Neil. He sang songs from the 50s and 60s which had us all singing along and tapping our feet.

We had a wonderful afternoon welcoming Crox Duo back. Sarah & Martin are very talented musicians and they really take their time showing the residents all the different instruments that they play.
This time we were treated to some film themes. Our residents were tapping their fingers and toes along with the music.

It's National Art Day today and our residents got all creative. We had a selection of paints, paper plates and wooden shapes to decorate.
There was plenty of chatter about people's favourite art. Ann said that Art was for everyone to enjoy and we couldn't agree more!

Today was National Scrabble Day and as ever our residents were keen to get involved!
We had a lounge full of keen residents. Some wanted to play, others were happy to watch and give support, it was so lovely.
Gabriel was our overall champion of the day, she really does enjoy a game of Scrabble 😊

We'd like to say a huge Thank You to all the staff & families plus Myton Food Group who donated to our Easter Raffle.
We had great fun drawing the winners yesterday & everyone was pleased with their prizes!

Our residents have enjoyed getting crafty over the past few days. They have been busy creating some wonderful Easter hats and have been wearing them with pride throughout the weekend 😊

What a fantastic Easter Sunday we have had! The Easter Bunny delivered eggs this morning to all our residents, which put a real smile on their faces 😊
Next they were treated to a delicious three course lunch, which was enjoyed by residents and their families. This afternoon was spent swapping Easter memories and tasting the amazing Easter cake made by our talented chefs!
