Day 2 in LA - basically a food crawl with a few landmarks thrown in

We didn’t do extreme diets.
We didn’t cut out carbs.
We had weekend events where food went out the window.
We had a holiday to contend with, but, we continued to focus on consistency and sustainable change - and it’s showing ✨

Still blaming the heat for skipping workouts? 👀
Even in an air-conditioned gym, training in warmer weather feels harder, but there are ways to work around it.

Here are a few tips when you’re melting even before you warm-up:
💧 Hydrate properly (and no, coffee doesn’t count)
🥵 Don’t push for PBs – just show up and move
🕖 Train at cooler times when possible
🍌 Eat enough – low energy isn’t just “the heat”
🧂 Consider electrolytes if you’re sweating buckets

It’s not about being a machine, it’s about being smart!

2.3kg down after only four weeks 🔥

✅ She’s not starving.
✅ She’s not living in the gym.
✅ She’s not cutting out her favourite foods.

This is what happens a when you focus on a structured training programme with progressive overload - no random workouts - and keep nutrition simple but consistent, with enough flexibility to still enjoy life.

Your week or your day doesn’t need to be perfect, it’s about having a plan, staying consistent, and playing the long game - I this all the time but there is no overnight fix! You have to play the long game.

Being consistent doesn’t mean being perfect.
It means showing up , whether you’re tired, overwhelmed, under-caffeinated - it doesn’t matter, you have to do it anyway!

As a single mum of 3, I don’t have extra time.
I make it, and even as a personal trainer my motivation levels dip when it comes to my own training, so instead of relying on motivation I build habits.
And I train because it keeps me sane - not just “fit.”

This post isn’t about hacks or shortcuts.
It’s about the real-life things that actually help me stay on track, even when life is a full-time circus 🤪

Incredible results for . Her journey with me began at the start of November 2023. The first couple of months were slightly up and down contending with Christmas and a holiday abroad, but since the beginning of February 2024 she put her head down and stayed focussed and disciplined. ⁣

The results speak for themselves. She’s lost 14kg in less than a year, smashing her weight loss target, and becoming so much fitter and stronger along the way. ⁣

“I’m feeling mentally happier and exercise has given me a postive focus. My clothes are starting to become baggy, I feel less insecure in them and I’m more inclinded to pick things I wouldn’t wear last year which makes me feel so much more confident in my skin. Exercise has made me feel stronger, I have a better relationship with food and can still enjoy nice things but in moderation and I have a better understanding of portion control. Overall it’s been the best change and I’m enjoying it rather than it feeling like a chore!” ⁣⁣

The babies are 11!! I have no idea where time keeps disappearing to but I know my feet never seem to touch the ground thanks to these two and their older brother! ⁣

Raising children as a single mum continues to come with its challenges, but as this quote says… ⁣

“Children have the power to teach us important lessons about resilience, imagination, and the beauty of living in the present moment.”⁣

As they become older and wiser I’m sure they’ll be teaching me many more lessons and I can’t wait for the adventures and memories that are yet to come 💖💙⁣

This client started my online training programme with the goal of fat loss and increasing muscle mass. These photos were taken two months apart and although weight has only decreased by 2kg, the changes are quite obvious! ⁣

Her waist has come in, stomach has flattened and back is looking much leaner! Despite some health related challenges along the way she’s been consistently putting the work in, finding ways round exercises that have to be avoided and the hard work is paying off! ⁣

I’m so pleased with the results so far. All her training has been done at home, but she’s been committed and made sure she’s pushing herself with the weights. Looking forward to seeing more results over the coming weeks! 💪🏽⁣

Child no. 1 is 12!!!! Whaaaaaaaatttt 😱 one year till I have a teenager, how did that happen?!!!⁣

Becoming a parent and a mother for the first time is truly a life-changing moment. You learn so much about yourself along the way, and as time goes on you also learn that you can never use the bathroom or have a cup of tea uninterrupted ever again 😂⁣

Forever grateful to all three of my children for always being the light no matter how dark life gets 💙💖💙⁣

When this client first came to me, she’d already managed to lose 9kg over seven months but was only training once a week with a PT. She wanted to change things up so she could train in her own time at home when it was convenient for her/ her lifestyle. Although her diet had changed a little she wanted to continue to lose weight and hit her goal of 52kg whilst also being accountable to someone.

So pleased to share that she absolutely smashed that goal dropping just over 5kg in three months by following an online training programme of three workouts a week which she’s been doing at home. She’s had to fit these in whilst also being a mum to two young children as well as juggling the usual responsibilities that come with being a wife and running a house!

Despite a few obstacles along the way, she’s managed to stay consistent with the exercise and the nutrition and it’s paid off. Her next goal is to focus on getting stronger and like many mums after having children, she wants to feel confident about how she looks. I’m so happy with the results she’s got so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing what else she can achieve with the same level of commitment she’s applied these last three months.
