I am still allowed to work for patients that are in pain or for medical reasons eg sciatica, trapped nerves, shoulder/ neck pain, posture related pain, pain caused by bulging discs, pain caused by arthritis, injuries, lymph drainage to name but a few. When I was at university one of the assignments was “where do you see complementary therapies now” my views now are the same as it was all those years ago that ‘cam’ (particularly level 5 as I am) is available or sort after just to the rich & famous, the severely in pain (as you would pay anything to get out of pain) and mainly women (men appear to just put up with pain). I decided then that I didn’t want to be in that bracket, I’m too old and wise and as long as I can pay my bills there is no need for fat cat mentality and lavish holidays, my belief therefore was and always will be to bring level 5 to the masses, to the general public and to those of you who live in pain or discomfort daily. I charge £30, and not just for 30mins like most therapists I continue until I’m happy with what iv done or until the client and tissue tells me otherwise. I leave massive gaps (2 hourly) to allow me to do this and I would never just say that’s time up n leave you still in a state of muscle spasm. ###
