It is important to try and maintain muscle and bone strength particularly as we age. Today in our yoga practice we concentrated on weight bearing moves and actively, gently, contracting the muscles needed to help stay in a pose, this not only helps us to stay focussed but the muscle contractions help to stimulate your bones to strengthen themselves.
