Starting Tomorrow: Yoga for the Menopause Journey

Tomorrow I begin a special yoga class designed for all women navigating the powerful — and sometimes challenging — transitions of menopause, including perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause.

Our first session will focus on a restorative sequence to support anxiety, insomnia, and feelings of overwhelm — symptoms that can arise at any stage, but especially during perimenopause and menopause.

Join me to feel safe, empowered, and learn how to stay grounded and joyful throughout this transformational time.

📅 When: Thursdays from 19 June (6-week course)
🕢 Time: 7:30 – 8:30 PM

Yoga for Hot Flushes: Embracing the Inner Fire

Hot flushes are one of the most common vasomotor symptoms experienced during the menopause journey. They are linked to the natural decline in oestrogen, which can affect the hypothalamus—the part of the brain that regulates temperature—causing it to become more sensitive to slight changes.

However, hot flushes can also be triggered or worsened by stress, anxiety, and emotional tension, making them particularly challenging for many women.

From a more spiritual perspective, hot flushes can be seen as a surge of vital energy—an inner fire that, rather than being feared, can be gently channelled and transformed.

In this class, we will explore how pranayama (breathwork), restorative yoga, and deep relaxation can support your nervous system, regulate temperature responses, and help you navigate menopause with more ease and empowerment.
