This was me.
A child who found safety in the water when the world didn’t make sense.

Today, I work with SEND learners and anxious swimmers just like I was.

The government doesn’t care about SEND —
But I do. And I’m training the next generation of inclusive aquatic teachers to prove it.

I’ve made a quick video update to say how much it means to me and why this journey is so important. Every bit of support gets me closer to building something that makes swimming more inclusive, more accessible, and more empowering for every learner.

WOW, I’m blown away with how amazing people are being supporting my dream.

I’ve had some amazing conversations with parents, family, friends and so many more.

This funding will not only help me complete:
✅ The STA Aquatic Tutor qualification
✅ The Disability Swimming Teacher course
✅ Multiple STA CPDs to deepen and diversify my teaching

…it will also give me the time and resources to:
➡️ Write my own inclusive CPD workshops
➡️ Travel to swim schools that need support
➡️ Offer subsidised or free training to grassroots instructors who work with SEND learners
➡️ And begin building the inclusive swim programme I’ve always dreamed of, shaped by lived experience, not just lesson plans

🚨 Big news from me today… 🌊

I’ve just launched a fundraiser to help me take the next step in my journey as an inclusive swim educator and SEND advocate. I’m raising funds to become an STA Tutor, complete specialist CPDs, and build a swim programme that works for every learner, from beginners to children and adults with complex needs.

Swimming saved me as a child. Now I want to train others to use it as a tool for safety, healing and inclusion.
