We had a busy day today we stocked up our bird feeders so our feathered friends have something to eat in the cold weather. We squeezed in a bit of knit and natter and finished the afternoon off with our monthly church service.

Our residents enjoyed a Watercolour workshop today painting seasonal Winter Scenes with our Debbie. Some of our residents concentrated on the painting others enjoyed looking at the pictures and reminisced about the meaning of Winter to them. We had a tea morning while watching the birds today No ordinary tea morning we had Assam, Darjeeling,Earl Grey and English breakfast tea also mocha, latte and Cappuccino coffee with a selection of biscuits. We also saw 13 Guinea fowl and lots of blue t**s and great t**s

This morning we had a wonderful visit from Evies owls. Our residents and staff throughly enjoyed being told all about the owls and getting to stroke them. Our manager who is petrified of any birds managed to hold one and stroke one if only for a few seconds I'm sure you can see by her face how scared she was. It was a wonderful morning and we can't wait till you come back to see us again.
