A typical day working as a freelance Clinical Aromatherapist and natural product formulator can vary greatly. Today I have started formulating a new range of natural skincare products for a long-term client. Much of my work can end up being computer based; writing up formulations and ideas. So I am looking forward to getting hands on and trying out these new formulation ideas and producing samples for my client.

How can you use essential oils safely in aromatherapy? 🌱

Oleum Botanica puts safety first. In fact, we have dedicated the next three posts to the subject as we aim to set the story straight when it comes to essential oil safety.

Just because something is natural, it doesn’t automatically make it safe to use in any way we please.

Essential oils are powerful, highly concentrated substances, each with its own specific set of safety data that the user should be made aware of by any responsible supplier.

In fact the more we understand about these oils and how to use them safely, the more likely we are to achieve the outcomes desired, with none of the reactions we don’t.

In the next posts, we will explain more on the do’s and don’ts of essential oil safety. ✨
