✨ The Great Birth Club ✨
Saturday 13th December 9.30-11am
Grove Farm Wellbeing, Swanton Abbott.

Parents-to-be are invited to the next gentle, slow, welcoming gathering. This is space for you, however you are feeling, at any time during pregnancy.

No judgement, no pressure, no need to have all the questions, or any of the answers!

In December, we will discuss anchors to bring into your birth space. Anchors help you feel grounded and relaxed, no matter what type of birth you are planning. If birth becomes stressful then anchors help you return to the here and now and find your calm.

We will also have time for a deep relaxation, general birthy chat, tips and info! And of course a cuppa and delicious snack 😋

The fact that my mum wasn't going to be there when I had my babies was one of the most painful parts of losing her. That conversation was just too much, so we never really had it.

But I decided to forgive myself, even though I now wish so deeply that I knew more about her mothering experience when I embarked on mine 💔

Wanna just snuggle down at the end of pregnancy and enjoy the last few days or weeks of calm?

You may need to set some serious BOUNDARIES!

The likelihood is you'll be inundated with calls and messages from loved ones eager for updates and maternity services eager to get your baby out as soon as possible 🙄

You could try something like this:

For friends & family:
🔔 Thank you so much for all your love and support! We’re soaking up these last quiet days before baby arrives and stepping back from our phones for a bit. We’ll share our news when the time feels right!

For healthcare providers:
🚫 I’m informed about my options and am not considering induction at this time. I’m happy to revisit the discussion at ** weeks or if my preferences change. Please document my decision, and I’ll reach out if there’s anything further I’d like to discuss.

What a BEAUTIFUL morning spent with parents to be, I am so full of gratitude every time someone trusts me with their time on this journey. I'm so excited to continue to grow this welcoming community 💖

We relaxed, chatted, connected, supported eachother and acknowledged the huge, incredible, intense and wild ride of pregnancy, birth and new parenthood.

We acknowledged how everyone's experiences are so different, but common themes are helpful for us all;
