Are you passionate about providing high-quality care? Martham Lodge Residential Care Home is looking for dedicated individuals to join our friendly and supportive team in Martham (NR29 4PA).

We are currently recruiting for: ✅ 1 Full-Time Care Assistant (Day Shifts) ✅ 1 Senior Care Assistant (Day Shifts)

🕒 Approximately 36 hours per week. • 🗓️ Shifts include every other weekend. • 🚗 Must be able to reliably travel to/from the home. • 🤝 Flexibility to work any weekday days is required.

We’re delighted to celebrate two of our amazing team members for their outstanding contributions! 💐

🌼 September – Sharon
Residents and staff nominated Sharon for the fantastic support she provides to everyone around her. She’s a great mentor, ensures our residents receive the very best of care, and is always there to lend a helping hand. Sharon is also a huge support to the team, we truly appreciate all she does!

🌸 October – Ellen
Ellen was nominated by residents for the delicious meals she’s been preparing while covering in the kitchen! As Head of Shift, Ellen also makes a real difference on the floor, showing her dedication and versatility every day.

Both Sharon and Ellen received a well-deserved goodie bag and as keen gardeners, they also enjoyed a floral treat! 🌷 Ellen received a lovely Petunia and Wildflower Pollinator, while Sharon was gifted some beautiful plants. 🌿

We are thrilled to share that our residents enjoyed a delightful visit from Nostalgia Films this past Thursday! 🎉

Phil brought a touch of the golden past with classic movies, heartwarming scenes, and cherished memories. Our community was immersed in the magic of old Hollywood, bringing back fond memories and sparking wonderful conversations. 🌟🎬

A huge thank you to Nostalgia Films for this beautiful experience and for bringing so much joy to our home. Our residents had a fantastic time reminiscing and enjoying the films!

Last Saturday, we had the immense joy of celebrating a truly remarkable milestone—Elizabeth's 100th birthday! Our care home was transformed into a festive haven, decorated with vibrant balloons and banners, and filled with the joyous tunes of the 1920s, taking us all on a nostalgic journey through the music of her youth.

Our residents and staff gathered to honour Elizabeth, sharing stories and laughter over a delightful buffet tea. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, love, and a deep sense of community, reflecting the extraordinary life Elizabeth has lived.

Here's to 100 years of cherished moments, and many more to come!
