We are thrilled to share that our residents enjoyed a delightful visit from Nostalgia Films this past Thursday! 🎉

Phil brought a touch of the golden past with classic movies, heartwarming scenes, and cherished memories. Our community was immersed in the magic of old Hollywood, bringing back fond memories and sparking wonderful conversations. 🌟🎬

A huge thank you to Nostalgia Films for this beautiful experience and for bringing so much joy to our home. Our residents had a fantastic time reminiscing and enjoying the films!

Last Saturday, we had the immense joy of celebrating a truly remarkable milestone—Elizabeth's 100th birthday! Our care home was transformed into a festive haven, decorated with vibrant balloons and banners, and filled with the joyous tunes of the 1920s, taking us all on a nostalgic journey through the music of her youth.

Our residents and staff gathered to honour Elizabeth, sharing stories and laughter over a delightful buffet tea. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, love, and a deep sense of community, reflecting the extraordinary life Elizabeth has lived.

Here's to 100 years of cherished moments, and many more to come!

We are thrilled to share the fantastic news that our recent Strawberry Tea Event held on Monday was a tremendous success! 🍓🎉

With the incredible support from our wonderful community, we raised an amazing £236 for our Residents Fund. This will go a long way in enhancing the activities and services we offer to our beloved residents. 🏡❤️

We're thrilled to announce that we received a special visit on Monday from Poppy, our new Pets as Therapy (PAT) dog, and her wonderful owner Kerri.
Poppy and Kerri will now be visiting us on a fortnightly basis to spread joy, love and comfort to our residents.
We would like to take this time to thank Les and Flo for coming to see us over the last few months and wish you both lots of luck with your new venture. Please do pop by and say hello to us all, as and when you can! You will be missed by us all at Martham Lodge.

🎉✨ Yesterday morning was filled with laughter and joy at our care home! Our wonderful residents had a fantastic time participating in chair exercises led by the amazing Jackie. The room was alive with energy, smiles, and plenty of giggles as everyone got moving and grooving.

A big thank you to Jackie for bringing such positive vibes and keeping us all active and entertained. Here's to more fun-filled mornings and staying healthy together! 🧡

Wonderful Boat Trip on the Southern Comfort Boat!

We had an absolutely delightful afternoon on Monday, 20th May, as we set sail on the Southern Comfort boat at Horning. The weather was perfect, and the scenery was breathtaking as we cruised along the tranquil waters.

Our residents enjoyed the beautiful views, the fresh air, and the lovely company. It was a day filled with laughter, smiles, and cherished moments. We are grateful to the Southern Comfort team for their hospitality and making our trip so memorable.

Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible, and to our wonderful residents, staff and relatives for bringing so much joy and enthusiasm. Here’s to more wonderful adventures together!
