Another successful Immediate Life Support (ILS) course delivered by team 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️🩺

Throughout the course of the day the candidates learned:

• How to manage a patient’s airway 🗣️
• How to perform high quality CPR 🫀
• How to use a defibrillator safely ⚡️
• How to work effectively as a team member during resuscitation 🏥

Great meeting with Jessica and Harrison at Medical Training Solutions Ltd today. We are looking at a possible training day for local community to have confidence to use on street bleed and AED kits.

Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS) in full swing 👦🏼

Some great lectures delivered consisting of recognition of the sick child, choking management and paediatric resuscitation

have been busy over the past few days delivering Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) training to a group of local clinicians 🚨🚑

The 2-day course involved some great trauma care lectures followed by a number of skill stations covering:

• Catastrophic bleeding management (including tourniquets and haemostatic products) 🩸

• Airway management (including essential and advanced airway skills) 🗣️

• Breathing management (including needle thoracentesis and finger thoracostomy) 🫁

• Circulation management (including EZIO, KTD, splinting and drugs) 🫀

• Disability management (including head and spinal trauma and discussions around the EXIT Project) 🧠

• Exposure management (including temperature control) ❄️

All of which were built into contextualised simulations (including traumatic cardiac arrest)

Congratulations to all who are now qualified PHTLS providers 👏

Great clinical CPD day delivered by ! 🚑

Over the course of the day clinicians from a variety of backgrounds were exposed to different scenarios and topics including:

• Co***ne Toxicity ☠️
• DKA 💉
• Pacemakers 💔
• Paediatric Cardiac Arrest 👶
• Airway Burns 🔥
• Major Haemorrhage 🩸
• Rhabdomyolysis 💪
• Vehicle Extrication (EXIT) 🚙

The purpose of our simulation days are to recap skills and knowledge that you might be rusty on whilst pushing you to know more 📈

have been delivering the Qualsafe Level 3 in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) at our Snetterton training facility to the wonderful team at Ben Willis Landscaping 🇬🇧🩹

Throughout the course, candidates have developed essential life-saving skills, including:

• CPR and AED usage – ensuring individuals can respond effectively to cardiac arrests ⚡️.

• Choking management – providing the necessary interventions to assist a choking casualty 🫁.

• Shock and bleeding control – understanding how to manage severe bleeding and circulatory shock 🩸

This qualification equips individuals with the knowledge and skills required to act confidently and effectively in workplace emergency situations. Congratulations to all participants who are now certified First Aiders ✅👏
