We’re thinking about running another private session during the May half term — just for SEN families. It will include two games of bowling and a relaxed group meal in a fun American-style diner.

We plan everything around what your children enjoy, so it’s always shaped by their needs and preferences.

And we would like to take a winners prize home after being runner up for the last two years. HELP NEEDED! We need your help this spring and summer.

Our permanent book stall raises vital funds for Twinkles SEN Activity Days CIC. We receive no government funding, so every donation helps us support local SEN families.

For many, our group is a lifeline. We are determined to keep it going and reach as many families as possible.

That’s a wrap on Twinkle’s SEN Activity Days this Easter half term!

What an incredible couple of weeks — welcoming new families, sharing fun activities, and seeing so many happy faces. We gave out lots of Easter eggs and treats, and the smiles from the children said it all.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteer team who worked tirelessly throughout the holidays — serving free drinks, snacks and lunches, running crafts, organising events, and even making sure the Easter Bunny made an appearance. Your time, energy and kindness make everything possible.

And thank you to all the families who came along, got involved, and supported their children to try new things, make friends, and step away from screens for a while.

Twinkle’s SEN group is a place to feel welcome, supported, and understood — and we’re so proud of the community we’re building together. 💛

We are planning future Twinkles SEN activity days and group events, and we want to make sure they are fun, and suited to your children.

Please take a moment to answer a few quick questions:

• Do you already attend our group, or would you be new?
• How old is your child?
• Is your child diagnosed, or currently waiting for a diagnosis?
• Which of our activities has your child already enjoyed?
• Are there any activities your child would like to try or that you would recommend?

Here are some of the activities we currently offer:

• Indoor play (including Dinosaur Park sessions)

• Water activities (sailing, paddleboarding, canoeing)
• Activity centres (raft building, archery, zip wire, climbing)
• Theme parks and weekend trips
• Tubing at Norfolk Snowsports
• Football sessions (FDC)
• Racing simulators and go-karting
• Community centre sessions (football, crafts, painting, cooking, sensory room, gaming)
• Inflatable assault courses
• Laser tag / battle sessions
• Seasonal events (beach days, park meet-ups, Halloween, Christmas, circus trips)

😊WE NEED YOUR FEED BACK!!!👍Do you have a Sen child that would enjoy one of our community centres sessions? Our Sen tweens/and teens love football and enjoy a kick about at our community centre sessions.

🌟 Twinkle SEN Activity Day – FREE Event 🌟

Come and join us at High Lodge, Thetford for a fun, friendly, and exciting day made especially for SEN children and their families.

We’ll have our own private Oak Lodge as a calm and comfortable base, with:
• Private toilets
• Free tea and coffee for adults
• Squash and snacks for children

What’s happening on the day:
• A beautiful woodland adventure through the musical sensory trail, with group stops at different play areas
• A fun group scavenger hunt with a FREE large Easter egg for every child who takes part (limited numbers)
• Creative Easter crafts
• Sensory toys and bubble fun
• Football
• A chance to relax, chat, and connect with other families

Please bring your own picnic, camping chairs, or a group rug so you can settle in and enjoy the day together.

This is a safe, welcoming, and supportive space where children can explore, have fun, and be themselves.
