Just uploaded a new video looking at protecting the Fractal FM3.
I’ve been putting off removing the original screen plastic for ages, but finally decided to install some proper protection with KNK Shields.

In this video, I install them, test the footswitch usability, and give my thoughts after using them.

If you gig with an FM3, this might be worth a look.

Watch here:

If you own a Fractal FM3, you’ll know how easy it is for the screens to get scratched when using the footswitches — especially with dirty shoes on stage. In t...

I’ve just uploaded a new video breaking down how I use the Perform layout on the Fractal FM3 for live gigs.

After years of using a scene-based setup, I needed something more streamlined for switching sounds mid-show — without diving through layouts.

This new approach has completely changed how comfortable I feel gigging with the FM3.

If you’re running an FM3 live rig, this might give you a few ideas.

Ever tried to notate a great guitar idea in Guitar Pro…
and completely lost it while fighting rhythms?

In this video, I show a much faster Guitar Pro 8 workflow:
➡️ Enter the notes first
➡️ Ignore rhythmic accuracy
➡️ Fix the notation later

This approach is a lifesaver for transcription and composing.

I've updated the channel trailer on my YouTube channel.

This isn’t a fitness video.

I’m a working guitarist, and like many players, I’ve had back problems in the past. During lockdown, I had a moment where I could barely get out of bed — and that changed how I approached my health.

Last year, I committed to a simple daily habit and tracked it for an entire year.

This video is about guitar longevity, posture, and staying pain-free so you can keep playing for decades.

A video from covid times when playing live on New Year's Eve was not an option. Back to a party time version this evening with the band.

Happy New Year!

I thought Auld Lang Syne would make a nice solo guitar arrangement. I have played Auld Lang Syne every New Year's Eve with a band for as long as I can rememb...

FM3 users — looper placement matters more than you think.
This clip shows why putting the Looper block at the end of the chain changes everything.
Clean chords recorded → switch to drive → solo over the loop
The loop stays clean. The lead tone changes. 🎸🔥
Most people miss this.

In Part 2 of my FM3 looper series, I explain why where you place the Looper block completely changes how it behaves.

If your loop changes tone when you switch scenes… this is why.
In the video I cover:
🎸 Looper at the start vs end of the grid
🎸 Recording clean chords and soloing with drive
🎸 Locking in loop tone across scene changes
🎸 Using the looper for tone-tweaking and preset auditioning

If you use the Fractal Audio FM3, this is a really important workflow tip.

New Video! 🎥🔥
FM3 users… you’re probably using the looper the hard way.

Most people stomp the looper on the floor and hope their timing is perfect.
But there’s a hidden feature in FM3-Edit that turns the looper into a precision practice machine.

In this video I show you how to:

🎯 Create perfect loops without timing the footswitch
🎯 Trim start/end points with drag edits or exact numbers
🎯 Build multiple loops inside one recording
🎯 Use keyboard tricks (Return, arrows, Cmd+Z, etc.)
🎯 Keep loops running while switching scenes
🎯 Use the metronome and quantise for better practice

If you own an FM3, this will completely change how you practise.

If you have any FM3 questions or want future videos on tones, presets, or workflow tips, just let me know! 🙌🎸
