Rest can help when you’re injured, but it’s not always the full answer.

A common cycle:
- Pain → stop everything
- Feel a bit better
- Return to activity → pain comes back

Why?

Because the body often becomes less tolerant to load when we do too little for too long.

In many cases, the goal is:
✔️ Gradual return
✔️ Appropriate loading
✔️ Consistency

Not complete rest.

Pain ≠ damage. It’s more complex than that.

Pain can be influenced by:
- Load and training
- Stress and sleep
- Previous injuries
- General sensitivity

That’s why:
More pain doesn’t always mean more damage
And less pain doesn’t always mean everything is “fixed”

Understanding this helps people:
✔️ Stay consistent
✔️ Avoid unnecessary fear
✔️ Build back up more effectively

If you’re not ready for our full coaching programme yet, this is the best place to start.

If you want to get in shape but keep running into aches, inconsistency, or not knowing what to do… this is for you.

This is my structured coaching plan designed to help you:
– Get stronger
– Lose weight
– Train without flaring up your knees, hips, or back

It’s built for busy people who want a clear plan they can actually stick to.

You’ll know exactly what to do, how to progress, and how to train in a way that works with your body, not against it.

DM me “PLAN” and I’ll send you the details.

This programme is suitable for ANYONE, whether you’re a busy professional with limited time, an athlete who wants to be proactive and avoiding injury, or whether you’re simply wanting to get fit and healthy to live a happier healthier life.

The issue isn’t that you’re inconsistent.

It’s that your training only works when life is quiet.

And for most people, life isn’t quiet very often.

So they end up stuck in the same cycle - start strong, fall off, repeat.

Proper proactive structure breaks that cycle.

If you want that handled properly year-round,
message me “COACHING” - 8 spots left ready to start in July.

Hi everyone! I recently released an eBook that is in Men’s Health Magazine called Back Pain - At Home Management guide. I’ve been using it to help treat my clients who come and see me at Milestone Therapy Centre in Stalham, but it is also available to purchase online for £4 on my website. It has 20 pages, and includes advice for different stages of back pain, what you should and shouldn’t be doing, common misconceptions, and much more. I hope you like it!

My new eBook is out! It’s aimed at those of you struggling with back pain. I address the myths, truths, what you can change today, what to avoid, and plenty more! It’s a very readable format and isn’t too wordy - all whilst being based on widely used clinical guidelines and research.

It is NOT a substitute for medical advice, please read the disclaimer before purchasing and consult your healthcare professional if indicated.

I’ve just finished week 1 of my 6th physiotherapy placement. This time i’m in a private neurological setting, working with both adults and paediatrics with a variety of conditions, including neurological and intellectual disabilities.

Unlike other placements I’ve been on, hard work and positivity are the 2 main treatment principles I’ve seen. My physiotherapeutic skills have a place, however the big results I’ve seen have come from LOTS of positive reinforcement, and pushing the clients to do hard things that they maybe didn’t believe they could do - and it works!

I’ve learnt so much in such a short space of time, and am so excited that I get to spend another 4 weeks learning here.

Stay tuned for more updates over the coming weeks!

The last few months have been VERY busy. I’ve had my hardest exam, finished another placement, worked on some exciting things for the business, seen plenty of clients and somehow fit in lots of time with those who i’m closest to 🥰

Here’s to a great 2026 ☺️

I’ve just finished the hardest exam of my whole Physiotherapy degree! I’ve still got one module, a dissertation, and 2 placements left to go, but that’s not feeling like too much now that this exam is out of the way (providing it went well 😅). I’m now enjoying the Christmas and New Year period before cracking on in the new year 🥳

This post is 2 weeks late 🫣 I’ve just finished the hardest exam of my 3 year Physiotherapy degree. I thought i’d make a little post about what it entailed for my hose who are interested 🥰 Now that it’s finished you can expect me to be back posting here more frequently

One of my favourite things about my job and life as a student physiotherapist is that I get to learn everyday, whether that’s through lectures at university, opportunities on placement, and through my sports massage appointments.
