Couldn’t recommend Graeme enough, from initial contact with him to now where I’m post toe nail surgery he has been incredible. So kind and helpful, has always explained everything thoroughly and took time to ensure I’m comfortable with what the plan is.

After having awful issues with my big toe for months and 4 courses of antibiotics I decided to go privately to finally get it sorted and it was the best decision ever. The standard of care I have received has been second to none. The surgery itself was super successful, Graeme took his time throughout especially when numbing and apart from that very small scratch I felt nothing and was completely at ease throughout. I feel I have received great value from my money as I have had multiple review appointments since the surgery, was given a course of antibiotics and plenty of dressing supplies, all being included which has been great!

My only regret is not going to Graeme sooner, couldn’t recommend him more!”

Fungal nails?

Consider the use of Clearanail System available at The Podiatry Clinic.

The patient below had tried multiple topical treatments and many laser therapy sessions to no avail. He was also averse to taking oral medication. Results are 18 months apart with 3 Clearanail treatments (excellent cosmetic results at 12 months).

“I’d been having a problem with a painful in-growing toenail over recent months. Visits to my usual chiropodist in Norwich resulted in very uncomfortable attempts at treatment and a lack of care with regards to the pain level I was experiencing. It was time to look elsewhere so I went online and found Graeme’s Podiatry Clinic - and decided to give it a try.
I’m very glad I did. After an initial consultation with Graeme, I decided with some apprehension to go ahead and have the nail cut back under a local anaesthetic. Apart from a slight scratch from the anaesthetic needle the entire process was entirely pain free. I literally didn’t feel a thing, and the toe healed very quickly. I would highly recommend Graeme’s services, not simply with regards to his technical expertise but also because of the degree of care and attention he pays to the sensitivity of the individual client. “I had a very stubborn verruca on my toe for over 20 years. I had tried absolutely everything over the years and went to numerous different Podiatrists. They all tried and failed and by this time the verruca had spread to my fingers also, causing me much distress. Finally a Podiatrist highly recommended me to go and see Graeme Franklin and said to me “if anyone can cure this then it’s Graeme with his needling technique”. This was the first time I had ever heard of this procedure.

I went ahead and booked in and after my initial consultation with Graeme, everything was clearly explained to me and I was booked in for 2 surgeries. A few weeks after the first surgery i noticed the Verruca had de-bulked and became more comfortable on the foot. A few months after my second surgery all the verrucas on both my fingers and toes have completely gone. I can’t believe how well this procedure worked with minimal pain.

I only wish I had heard about this surgery and treatment earlier and not wasted my time and money on other treatments over the years. I would highly recommend Graeme to anyone looking to be Verruca-free!”

LIFE CHANGING TREATMENT - Now Living Pain Free!
I had suffered with very painful verrucas on the ball of my left foot for around 15 years and tried many treatments without success and I was apprehensive and nervous about undergoing more treatment. I was recommended to Graeme who on my first appointment carefully examined my foot and talked me through the needling procedure so I felt very well informed and much less anxious about the whole thing . I really wanted this to work as the pain from the verrucas was affecting my everyday life such as walking long distances, driving and even tap - dancing ! Graeme carried out the Needling procedure in a very professional manner , calmly talking me through it at all times. Graeme continued this high standard of care through my follow up appointments and four months on , I am very pleased to say all the pain has gone. I will always be so grateful to Graeme for making every day tasks such as walking and driving pain -free for me again and I am back enjoying my tap dancing classes too . It has been truly life- changing for me and I would not hesitate to recommend Graeme to anyone with a foot problem such as mine .

“I had an issue with my heel causing me unbearable pain. I consulted my GP and was referred to the hospital for an X-ray. I contacted the surgery following this and they said you will need to wait until and if contacted. As the pain did not change I decided I needed to look elsewhere. I came to see Graeme as said with still a very painful heel which had been giving me problems for many months now. I was reassured that he could resolve the problem.

He scanned my feet with an ultrasound machine and he swiftly diagnosed plantar fasciitis. I was then booked in for a steroid steroid injection the next day. The foot was painlessly numbed first so the steroid injection was completely painless. The pain relief was transformational and the heel has been pain-free ever since. I cannot stress enough how the pain was gone and with such a painless procedure. I sincerely would recommend anybody.

I would recommend Graeme for the treatment of heel pain because he is one of the few podiatrists in the area who does ultrasound guided steroid injections.”

This patient had unsuccessful nail surgery 6 years ago at another clinic for both big toenails - one lot of surgery under local anaesthetic and the other under general anaesthetic.

It took the patient much courage to try another practitioner and we are privileged he chose us. A judicious amount of phenol during the nail surgery produced great results. Before and after photos are 4 months apart.

“I went to see Graeme a few months ago with an ongoing very painful left big toe due to an ingrowing nail. The toe was highly inflamed, and needed treatment as a matter of urgency. Within a few days I returned to have nail surgery to remove part of the offending nail. The procedure was totally pain free and carried out so professionally, in a relaxing environment.

My treatment went right through to follow up appointments until my toe was well on the way to full recovery-and pain free.
I have a number of health issues including a low immune. Following an initial consultation and examination, one session of needling has removed what nothing else could! I now no longer feel a sense of shame about my feet or worry about spreading the infection to anyone else, and the pain is gone. Our latest 5 star Google review from a patient with plantar fasciitis and heel pain. The diagnosis was confirmed by ultrasound scan and the foot painlessly injected with corticosteroid via ultrasound guidance.

Fascia thickness was reduced from 6.9mm to 4.5mm within 4 weeks (normal range is less than 4mm) which was consistent with the pain relief the patient observed.
