Tonight we started a new course with 8 lovely new couples for the next 5 weeks! Introducing them to early labour and how to cope in the early stage of labour.
We discussed:
Biomechanics
Breathing relaxation and meditation
The journey of labour
Coping strategies
Pain relief
Breaking of waters
Moving to your chosen place of delivery
Transitioning to established labour

A jam packed week full of information and activities!

Every other Thursday we hold a free to attend newborn support group- for all mummas with babies up to 6 months of age!

So if you’d like a friendly chat and cuppa head to see us on Thursday 10-1130- book via our booking links 🔗 in bio.

No other groups are in attendance of two local midwives for that extra level of knowledge and support.

Huge thanks to all our families who have joined our classes over the last year, anyone who has recommended us or shared and liked our pages and posts.

has been a labour of love and has taken a lot of time and thought and patience to get it right (and we still aren’t 100% there!).

Running a small business is scary! It’s all very unknown and opening yourselves up to scrutiny with something you’ve lovingly written and developed can be disheartening. Business is also inconsistent so although we are incredibly lucky to have rolled the course out successfully in our first year- we are always doubting ourselves with ongoing booking numbers!

Watch this space for the 2nd year of lots of exciting things in the pipeline!

It’s such a a good idea to learn different holds/ positions once you’ve mastered the traditional cross body hold. Personally, rugby ball position was always my favourite, as you can see exactly where they are lined up!
