So..... yesterday, I moved out of my comfort zone and did something I don't like doing very much, opening up about myself. I was very fortunate to be asked by lovely local artist and community art Guru, Rachel Duffield Art to appear on a new Podcast series she is recording , 'Art is Good For You'. Rachel is as passionate about art as I am about fitness, so I think the editor will have his work cut out filling the cutting room floor with content that wasn't related to the questions! ๐Ÿ˜‚

It was my first Podcast and once I'd mastered the technology (thanks Rachel!) I think I got into the swing of it!

The podcast is focussed on how art can be many things to you in your life.... a passion, an inspiration, an emotional support, a bad memory , a good memory, a source of comfort or even an epiphany moment ! It's a long time since I've had to consider searching questions and I hope I did alright and that my observations on how art has had an affect on my life might be of some interest or something to others ๐Ÿ˜Š

I believe the series is due to air from Boxing Day and will be available on such platforms as Spotify . (other podcast providers are available ๐Ÿ˜‰).

It's radio 2 DJ Sara Cox's last day of her amazing 135 mile northern run ultra marathon for children in need. She's battled through the most horrendous weather and terrain and I've just listened to her on the radio and she sounds completely broken and she's still got the rest of the day to go.
She is absolutely amazing and had only run up to 13 miles before the event!
Keep going Sara, you are A-M-A-ZING!

I've just donated sitting in my van in the wind and rain and tried to imagine what it must have been like running a marathon everyday this week in it!
Keep going Sara, you're almost there! Doing it for the children ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ

As many of you know, I'm not just The PT that likes a drink ๐Ÿท, but I'm also The PT that likes to knit ! ๐Ÿงถ So, I started watching The Game of Wool (a bit like 'bake off' for knitters) on channel 4 with Tom Daley , another sporting knitter!
I've seen nothing but negativity about the show on various FB feeds. It makes me sad to see how negative and judgemental a society we have become! Surely, we should all be embracing everyone's individuality and creativity? So what if some of the stuff is a bit rough around the edges, mine certainly is!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ . But I find knitting inspires creativity, feeds the soul and you get something at the end of it! So I enjoyed it and am looking forward to seeing Tom and the contestants again next week and their next challenge. It's certainly inspired me to get my knitting out in public and be proud of my dodgy efforts! And if anyone wants to start, you should pop along to the lovely ladies at The Lost Sheep Wool Shop . AMAZING shop ๐Ÿ˜

So, yesterday was a strange day. Not only did Claudia Winkleman turn up to Total Body, I also had a Halloween Snow White with a basket of poison apples and a nasty cut on her throat and Morticia Adams turn up to my SOSA Dance fitness class at Long Stratton Leisure Centre ! Good job I had done all that Halloween choreography!! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
