Introducing Charlotte ✨
Charlotte has been in the healthcare industry for over ten years and has been a part of Cavell Healthcare for several years now.
Charlotte prides herself in making those around her smile and feel happy within themselves, whether its supporting with a daily task or having a lovely friendly conversation and laugh.
Charlotte said her aim is to always make sure she has supported clients with their needs and that they are smiling and happy when she leaves.
Alongside working professionally as a homecare worker, Charlotte is also a carer for her youngest son, something she feels has helped her build her skills professionally. Charlotte said that being able to do this role around her personal life to care for her son means the world to her, to be able to enjoy time with him and his brother and to work comfortably without strain.
Charlotte said “I’m grateful to work with some wonderful people who are passionate about our job and providing the best for those we visit.
I start each shift feeling positive and always finish feeling just as positive if not more, as I thoroughly enjoy visiting clients and getting to know all of them personally and building a wonderful connection, learning about themselves as people and what they did through their lives and vice versa, so I look forward to seeing them each shift.”
We asked Charlotte, what would you say to someone considering a career in healthcare? She replied, “I say if you like to make someone’s day easier and brighter and feel rewarded yourself then this is the career for you.”
