Shame is a deeply painful emotion that makes us believe there is something wrong with who we are, rather than recognising we are human and imperfect. It often grows in silence, self-criticism, and comparison, leaving us feeling disconnected and unworthy. Healing begins when we meet ourselves with compassion, challenge the harsh inner voice, and allow ourselves to be seen, supported, and accepted. You are not your shame, you are worthy of kindness, love, and belonging exactly as you are.
