Happy New year everyone 🥳 🎉
As I wrap up the year, I want to reflect on the impact of our work through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, as a Bromley Council approved provider. Through this platform, I had the privilege of collaborating with The Mayor’s Fund for London Food & Communities and The Felix Project, enabling us to provide vital support to families across our local community.
Together, we successfully distributed food to over 8,000 families, helping to reduce food insecurity and strengthen community wellbeing.
Looking back at our attendance statistics, we are truly amazed by what we achieved through dedication and hard work:
384 young people attended our Easter programme
1,536 young people (ages 5–11) participated during the Summer holidays
240 young people joined us over the Christmas holiday period.
These numbers represent not just attendance, but safe spaces, nutritious meals, positive experiences, and meaningful engagement for children and families.
I would also like to highlight our fantastic work with Penge PCN, delivering the Wellbeing Café. The camaraderie, social connection, and peer support shown by participants has been incredibly encouraging, demonstrating the importance of community-led spaces in improving mental health and reducing isolation.
This year has been a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through strong partnerships, shared values, and a commitment to serving our community.
