The home provides care and support for adults over the age of 60 to live a full life. The home has an experienced staff team dedicated to provide personal care to the residents respecting their dignity.

👶🎨 Children’s Playgroup Update 🎨👵

We’re delighted to share that our Children’s Playgroup at Willow Brook Care Home will now take place every other Thursday at 10:30am!
Next session - Thursday 5th of March 👶

These special mornings bring so much joy to our residents as little ones and older generations come together to chat, play, sing, colour, and share smiles. 💛

Intergenerational activities create beautiful moments, spark memories, and build wonderful connections within our community.

We absolutely love seeing friendships blossom between our residents and the children — it truly brightens everyone’s day! 🌈✨

James had a lovely time out and about recently! 🛍️ He headed to the local shops with our wonderful Activity Co-Ordinator for a bit of shopping, picking up a few bits and enjoying the fresh air along the way.

To top it all off, they stopped for a nice coffee and a chat afterwards ☕ It was a great opportunity for James to relax, socialise, and enjoy a change of scenery.😊

We have a wonderful month ahead at Willow Brook Care Home, filled with music, celebrations, and special moments. Here’s what’s coming up:

🎤 4th March 2PM – Musician James joins us for a lovely afternoon of live music
👶 5th, 12th & 26th March – Children’s Playgroup at 10:30am
💐 15th March – Mother’s Day Celebrations with singer Colin, followed by tea and cake
🍀 16th & 17th March 2PM – St Patrick’s Day Celebrations, including a special show with Kevin and Marie on the 16th of March
⛪ 20th March – Church Service
🎞️ 25th March – Nostalgic Afternoon looking back at old times in Nottingham and surrounding areas

And more lovely activities throughout the month!

All event posters will be shared on our Facebook group and displayed inside our Home.

❤️🎶 Valentine’s Day Music Show at Willow Brook Care Home 🎶❤️

We had a truly lovely afternoon at Willow Brook Care Home last Monday, celebrating Valentine’s Day with a special music show from Kevin and Marie! 💕

They filled the room with beautiful love songs that had everyone singing along, tapping their feet, and sharing smiles. From timeless classics to heartfelt favourites, the atmosphere was full of warmth, joy, and a little bit of romance. 🌹✨

It was wonderful to see our residents enjoying the music, reminiscing, and spending such a special day together. A big thank you to Kevin and Marie for bringing the love and making our Valentine’s celebration so memorable! 💝🎤

Everyone enjoyed a delicious Chinese meal filled with tasty favourites, and the dining room was full of laughter and great conversation. After our meal, we opened our fortune cookies – it was so much fun reading out our fortunes and sharing a few smiles (and surprises!) with each other! 🥠😊

Yesterday our wonderful Residents and Staff at Willow Brook Care Home had such a lovely time celebrating together. ❤️As part of the celebrations, we wrote heartfelt, kind messages to help spread a little extra love and positivity — a simple gesture to brighten someone’s day.❤️
Residents had lots of fun in the afternoon enjoying a special Valentine’s Day afternoon tea, filled with sweet treats, laughter, and great company. ❤️ It was a truly heartwarming day for all involved. ❤️
